Biofoam (hitam), meskipun namanya "bio", kelebihan dia yaitu bisa difungsikan sebagai mekanis, dan bisa difungsikan sebagai biologis. Yang ga bagus kalau Bioball-nya yg paling depan baru busa, hehe... :)

Do not use metal wires. They will change the water condition due to reaction with water. Always use jute or plastic tags. Double or triple the tags for length... Cut the extra piece. The video is excellent. Great skill. My only advice is don't use Metal wire or anything of Metal. 👍🏼

You make some good videos and have some great ideas for filters. However I’m curious why you use a soldering iron to make your holes? A drill with a hole saw is much faster, cleaner and you wouldn’t need to inhale burning plastics. Bulkheads are fairly inexpensive and you can reuse them. Why not use them instead of the current fittings and 2 part epoxies?
Yes I agree with you, drill with a hole saw is much faster, cleaner, and now I forgot why I used a soldering iron in this video :D Regarding bulkheads, sometimes I try other ways than using partitions like some of the previous videos. Just wanted to make something different, and wanted to know how it turned out. Btw, thanks for suggestions bro.
It really depends on the condition of each tank because the situation can be very different, and I don't know what condition you have. It also really depends on how heavy the sump system you have.
Di video lain, biofoam sy di atas. Bebas saja sebenarnya, toh saat membersihkan ya keduanya diangkut. Yg penting bioball nya ga keganggu saat kita bersihkan mekanis.
Kalau bolong bawah, bisa langsung habis airnya, jd ngga bisa nampung dan memanfaatkan volume. Toh kalau pot ini pun sebenarnya lebih mudah untuk dibolongin bawah dr pada di atas seperti video, tp tetap sy memilihnya ngebolongin bagian samping atas drpd bawah. Gitu om..

Good idea, but you're losing efficiency there, bottom media is not getting any water flow, water flows on the surface because of the least effort route, you need to better route your water flow in order to force it to run through all your media, this simple mod will boost the efficiency of your filter greatly, also coarse sponge should be the first to receive the water, and fine one should be after, because big particles should be filtered first in order to get a longer life of your filtering media, nice video, keep up the good work
Hi thank you for your suggestion. Actually I agree with you, if I use the low capacity of pump. But in this video (and until now), I use the 2800 L/H, and almost all the pot area. For the mechanical, I change as what you suggest after I uploaded this video, so now the black one is the first order :). Anyway, once, thanks for your advice, I apreciate it.. :)
if your filter is mossy, the bacteria can live there. This is natural, just like a mossy bathroom floor, bacteria will easily live there. 3 months is sufficient time.
