Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) is coming up very soon.
To celebrate the holiday, I've prepared a simple dongeurangttaeng (Meat Fritters) recipe that you can make at home.
Make dongeurangttaeng with your family and have a happy Chuseok~

Dongeurangttaeng (makes approximately 20)
[Ingredients]
*Dongeurangttaeng mixture
2 cups (360g) minced pork
1 cup (150g) minced pork fat
1 tbsp (20g) minced garlic
3 tbsp (30g) thick soy sauce
1 tbsp (12g) brown sugar
1.5 stalks (120g) green onion
6 (60g) Cheongyang peppers
Carrot
1 tbsp (7g) sesame oil
(2g) bay salt
Pepper
MSG
*Savory pancake batter ingredients
2 eggs
Cooking oil
[Instructions]
1. Halve green onion and Cheongyang peppers, and thinly slice.
2. Finely dice carrots.
3. Add minced pork fat, minced pork, minced garlic, thick soy sauce, brown sugar, green onion, Cheongyang pepper, and carrot in bowl.
4. Use 4~5 chopsticks to stir mixture in one direction to mix evenly.
5. Add bay salt and continue to mix until mixture is glutinous.
Tip. Add MSG if preferred.
6. Once mixture is glutinous, add sesame oil and pepper.
7. Whisk egg in separate bowl.
8. Coat frying pan with cooking oil and preheat over medium heat.
9. Get spoonful of prepared dongeurangttaeng mixture, use two spoons to shape before coating in egg mixture.
10. Place mixture in oil and press down once with spoon to create flatter shape.
11. Flip mixture back and forth and fry in oil.
12. Once golden brown, plate dongeurangttaeng.
