Making Every Pokémon Ribbon in Real Life! (ft.  

10 months later we finally made this a reality! Also, so happy the marks are magnets. Wouldn't be a BigRig project if magnets weren't involved!

Hear me out: The Once-In-A-Lifetime ribbon should be given to the player's pokemon if it has more than 75% of ribbons that exist.

With every new ribbon video I get closer to “it’s not enough that i have all the Switch ribbons on multiple Pokémon…. I have to go back further”

Toast has shown me how cool the scyther line actually is, and has cemented scyther as one of my favourite Pokémon. Because of toast scyther is the only Pokémon I have the entire shiny line for in any of the main games.

I've been hoping to see these ribbons become a real, tangible thing for years, so thank you all for making them a reality. And congratulations to Toast! AGAIN! A small part of me would like to see those old contest and tower ribbons as well, but it's completely understandable why that's not the case.

This is honestly really cool! I want to make a Ribbon of my own! Specifically, the Contest Star Ribbon for the plush of my first Ribbon Master, Jewel the Phione! I'm currently starting a playthrough of Ultra Moon so I can get the last two Ribbons she needs before I can transfer her to the Switch!

Weirdly enough this makes me want to get my own ribbon master for the switch games more than any of the actual ribbon collecting videos you've made, I think if I do go through with it it's going to be vespaqueen because you can get the partner ribbon with her, and she's in my top 5 favorite pokemon

I gotta say, this video is really great, except the ocd in me wishes the contest star and coolness master ribbons were moved down one row on the shadow box so all the contest ribbons were grouped together hahaha Also I definitely prefer the gold ribbons, there’s something so pristine about them. It’s like giving a medal to your Pokémon, which given some of the feats you have to go through for some of the ribbons you basically have to give them a medal once in a while

Absolutely love this project!! I tend to be crafty so I'm really inclined to make a few ribbons myself. Little advice for future ribbons Toast might collect: if there's a bow on the ribbon, don't tie an actual bow. Make a loop and then use another piece of ribbon to put over the middle/ make the knot. It's not as thick or unwieldy as an actual bow and looks neater. I return to this channel every so often because of Toast the ribbon master. I'm not even big on ribbons myself but this whole thing is such a cool and dedicated project.

Whelp, time to pull out the polymer clay, acrylic paint, and jewelry kit. Time to make ribbons for as cheap as possible with my limited income :) I’ll have my hands full for at least the next few months. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love that transition from the trouble of finding a 3D modeller with an intimate knowledge of Pokemon to being a VC with BigRigCreates pretending to create narrative cohesion. It's great. I've been actually wanting to try doing a ribbon collection challenge with Eevee (my favorite Pokemon) for some time. I can't do any of the Gen 3 ribbons, but I'm going to start in Platinum and work my way from there. Congratulations on having Toast in real life with all of his ribbons! This was honestly cool to watch!

You have inspired me to get every ribbon/mark from paldea on penny’s trade evee which I have evolved into a glaceion. I have all of them except for the online battle ribbon, thankfully I have a few competitive teams at the ready, here’s hope for good luck!

I love that this exists. I love how much passion went into this. It's beyond cool. I've always been a crafter, and as a kid i always dreamed of making every pokemon item (there were a lot fewer back then) in real life. I would love to make these myself, thank you for making part of my dream real!

I’m not sure if this would help with anything, but I have skills in sculpting with clay, and oven bake clay like Sculpty would be neat to try to use for 3D ribbons/marks if anyone is interested.

these are so cute!! while i've always thought ribbon mastering was super cool, i haven't really wanted to give it a try myself until seeing these - a little shrine to toast is honestly really motivating. yeah... i wanna be just like her....... :] if you're having trouble with the double/triple loop bows like on the expert battler ribbon, i recommend looking at triple loop bow tutorials! tiffany bows would generally give the most consistent bow shape. the only problem is that on this scale, they're kinda difficult to make, but they would give a really cute shape

This was a very fun watch for me. I was thinking about doing something like this with Larry, my Altaria that is a ribbon master. I prefer the gold paint simply because it stood out. Amazing job with the project!

I just got flashbanged with nostalgia when Pokemon trertta got mentioned at 0:40 , the game cabinets got discontinued last year and i still have my collection

This is just so much fun to watch. I've been thinking about doing something this with Venus, my shiny Gardevoir (not a ribbon master, just super special to me), but was never sure how exactly to go about it. Personally I prefer the gold, and if you weren't making literally EVERY RIBBON, I'd have even suggested electroplating them for a true gold finish, and then using acrylic or enamel paints for the colors with a tiny bit of UV resin on top to give it that premium gloss and to protect the paint. Regardless though, these turned out fantastic, and those Battle Tree ribbons especially turned out great. I've gotta ask though, how'd you end up attaching the Hisui Ribbon? I'd love to eventually make the Honor of Kalos since X was my first game, and it's got the same claspless problem as that ribbon.

After having watched this video about a dozen times, and having looked at the ribbon icons for far too long, I found one SLIGHT inaccuracy with these replicas. The ribbons on the Paldea Champion Ribbon aren't exactly the same red and blue as the usual champion ribbons are. They're actually the same colors as the Naranja/Uva Academy uniforms, or put another way, they're scarlet and violet. It's not really a SUPER big inaccuracy or anything, but I thought it was a neat little detail that was sadly missing.

How long does it take to get all of the ribbons on one Pokémon? I've been desperately trying to get ribbons onto a Scizor (coincidentally also my favorite Pokémon), and I wanted to find clever ways to speed up the process, so I might as well get the base speed for it too.

Seeing the plush toast adorned with every ribbon was weirdly emotional. Every single pokemon video you’ve made on here is so infectiously passionate about pokemon. I had never even thought about ribbons before your vids and now I’m considering getting a ribbon master myself.

Omg someone finally did it! As a kid i always wanted badges and ribbons, while it was quite easy to find badges ribbons i could never find. Will be taking this on when I get some free time.

This is unbelievably cool, the ribbons look fantastic! Is there a high quality still image of any of the ribbons you made? Some of them (like the memory ribbons) were so detailed but you never get too close of a look at them in the video. Really cool project, and a beautiful display of respect to Toast
