Hi! I make animations and other miscellaneous videos, I've been enjoying making niche deep-dives into the Pokémon franchise. You can support me on Patreon here: patreon.com/SirToastyToes
@@SirToastyToes Nice! I'm happy for you. I'm waiting for a second gba to come in so i can get my Aurora Ticket. Gotta hunt Deoxys 4 times for my shiny living dex lol
"the big shotgun is a reference to real life shotguns, which in comparison to this one are typically smaller, making this one a big one relatively speaking" Truly enlightening words of wisdom. Aside from that, I had already noticed a good amount of the MGS references and figured that the devs were fans since there were way more than they would have been "obligated" to put in. But damn, those guys must be absolutely obsessed!
So in this sense, Salamance can be the only pokemon with max ribbons. I honestly would love to undergo this but there’s so many components I don’t understand or have.
I did a Pokedoku for the first time today and I was impressed at all the below 1%s i got. I have no clue how I know that Tauros can learn Flamethrower and Thunderbolt, or how Octillery is one of the only mono non ice types that can learn Ice Beam, but I'm glad this information is finally paying off.
You can wonder trade on local communications for effectively a link trade, you'll need a to shell out 360+ dollars, but at least you can get the ribbon if it's ever actually released
I'm a huge nerd so I made a quick Monte Carlo simulation and ran a million trials of giving a Pokémon 255 Pokéblocks, each with three randomly selected flavours at 2, just because I was curious how unlucky you'd have to be for this method to fail if all you did was make _exactly_ 255 black Pokéblocks with Nutpea berries. There was a 0.31% failure rate, with the worst observed incomplete stat being at 232. Realistically, of course, if you were in that unlucky scenario, getting close to maxing out sheen and falling short on one or two stats, you'd stop feeding them the black Pokéblocks and throw in a couple of basic specific flavour ones to make up the deficit.
Does the print fade away with time? If so, how can one preserve it? Is it possible to scan them, save them in a laptop and have them printed in a better paper/quality?
I love the idea of this event, I think it is original and exciting! What are the requirements for submitting a shiny? I don't know much about Ranch so I wonder how you will put the Pokémon on the ranch?
Dang... I found two of mine from 2011 that had 6-7 ribbons (never farmed or thought about it much) but it made me want to turn pokemon Y back on and get those then Omega ruby then Sun before sending it to switch permanently. I'd be stoked if i could get them 20 ribbons each before then end up on scarlet/Sword.
