Thank you so much! I’m fortunate to have a background in public speaking, which I think helps a bit. I’m glad you enjoy them!! 🥰

Oh I like this technique for controlled alcohol ink a lot! I usually drop a little bit of ink on a non-porous surface and then soak it up with the toothpick. But putting it directly on honestly makes a lot more sense! Thank you so much for sharing, these are absolutely beautiful.

These are absolutely gorgeous! Just recently started doing resin casting and dice making and these dice are absolutely what's gonna make me grab a set of matching blank/normal masters/molds. A thought for the "inking" if you haven't already done it or thought of this: I'm not sure what products or techniques could get this done, but what if the numbers were just matte/flat transparent or even translucent or frosted? Just visible enough to be able to discern what number but also clear enough to still be able to see the under layer.

It's really pretty! I don't know if my advice is worth much, but maybe ink the highest and lowest facing die red, and the rest white?

I’m starting to learn how to make dice and I’m so in love with your channel. Thank you for your content. I’m starting by making some sets for my Dnd party and DM. I think I’m going to make some dice using blanks and stickers. Question: where do you get your stickers from? I may have to make my own stickers for one-I want to make Sith stickers for my DM.

Hello! I typically find my nail decals just scrolling on Amazon and looking for packs that interest me. Usually packs have 5-7 designs in them so I buy 2-3 of the pack (it takes more than a full sheet for my designs) and if I really like one of the sheets, I then buy it in bulk

Holy crap those are nice! (also, I noticed that your fingernails often look like your dice. 😊 I wonder if that is intentional)

Did you say you make the stars and sky effects on your blank core from leather paint? Those are incredibly beautiful dice! Nice👍

Love these! Random q, with how sparkly they come out of the molds already, do you take the time to sand them from green to white zona or skip alot of that and polish since they seem so clean🤔

I actually have a very modified sanding/polishing process that I will definitely post at some point! But basically: 1. Sand any faces that need it (usually only my cap (1) faces) with 2k grit wet/dry sandpaper on a wheel. 2. Sand all sides of all dice on the wheel with the pink zona paper and 3m’s step 2 polish. 3. Polish all sides of all dice with a dremel buff and 3m step 3 polish OR white zona on a wheel with step 3 polish.

So good! And the stickers work so well here, where did you get them from?

If I understand you use the blank moulds first to make the dice which you decorate, than have slightly larger moulds for the indented numbers afterwords? Would it be possible than to 3D print dice shapes or other shapes and things than put it in the larger mould? Oh, I was into using adult colouring books for a month or two and I sort of cheated when I got stuck; I did this by taking pictures with my phone and using software to mix up colours I thought would look nice before colouring. Maybe you can do something like this before inking the numbers?

Do you have any links to materials you use or find useful?

May I ask if you sand down the lifted side when you remove your planks from the cap mold?

So you use a blank set for the initial pour then a set with the numbers? It’s the number mold still the standard size or did you make your own slightly larger mold?
@AseGarcia
@AseGarcia Год назад
The opposite :) The blank molds usually make slightly smaller dice. That way you can use the "numbered" dice molds for both blank and non-blank sets.
