That Jack thing used to fell that tiny birch was alot of time waste.... Why bother? Surely a little notch and a back cut with a small wedge will knock that over in 30 seconds...
i feel the pain small trees alway gave me trouble some little branch holding at the top and tree wont fall. It is easier to fell big trees rather than small trees.
I'm sorry if you're going to use your pretty little jack on a birch why don't you do your face cut you got all that safety gear and are so green about the situation right from the beginning that's all I'm going to say you are trying God bless you should never do that..
