Wow, that walk around Jakarta looked intense! Especially in Tana Abang - looks crowded! Getting lost in trips is really part of the travels, e? haha always happens to me 😂 but thankfully, the locals would always be glad to help. You should visit more modern places in Jakarta (SCBD, PIK Gold Coast 1, PIK Beach 2, Ancol Beach City, Kota Wisata Cibubur, Sentul City, Kota Kasablanka, Kuningan City, Senayan City) and even Thousand Islands (Pelangi Island, Ayer Island, Harapan Island, Macan Island, Sepa Island, or many more islands)
yes ... but everyone are happy .... indonesian top priority is education and health ... indonesian citizen have free education 12 years ( until high scool ) and free medical service .... you only need indonesian id card .... hope 10-20 years later indonesian will grow better place

Tourists barely come to less developed areas if social interaction is not their interest. Local people are friendly, and here definitely he was there on Friday, where muslims do the Friday pray in segregation around 1 pm. Obligation to all adult male muslims. Luxurious and poor areas are reality, that’s called a social gap in economy, and Jakarta is still improving and growing.
