I was averaging 32 pts 5 rebs 6.4 asst, 3.5 stl and still got benched and had to play 6-10 min a night because 2K thinks that GMs tell coaches to bench their 1st round pick to save their jobs...when it's obviously the fastest way to get fired.

@@thatdudeshan Update to mine: the game accidentally put the flashback cutscene in my next NBA game, so it was all NBA players during the speech, with his college friend there wearing our uniform for some reason. I made it through the benching after two A+ games, including a triple-double in like 28 minutes. 10 games of legendary basketball later, I randomly got put on the bench again because 2K reset the lineups and put me (79 OVR) behind Terry Rozier (83) even though I am first in all-star voting through 30 games lmao. This game is hilariously broken.

Do you think they'll ever go back to making a basketball centric MyPlayer? Like no cheesy story, but you can get drafted from #1-30 (or #60 or undrafted), you play in the summer league, you play in the g league if you're playing poorly, and you slowly increase your player's ability over multiple season?

If you wanted to be a robot PR machine you could. They took away that choice and instead sank resources into a dumb ass corny story that makes everyone's character the exact same with only the physical appearance being the difference.

It would be 100x better if the game adapted to how you play, like the story and cutscenes change depending on how youre performing, its mad stupid that you can be averaging a triple double and win every game and still be put on the bench for no reason. They should have a different arch where you out perform shep and people love you instead

Clique. Leadership skills in this are like mini takeovers. I highly suggest getting fancy footwork and the defense one from general. The more you answer for that style (team vs me basically) the more you get points to spend on perks. I think they're like +36 and shit
