After creating a poor Cinderella in rags doll a couple weeks ago, today we are going to continue and repaint another Monster High doll into a gorgeous Cinderella in her ball gown.

Back in the 60's when I was very young (I was born in 1961) I had a little Cinderella story book. I don't remember her hair other than it was light, but her dress was definitely white and decorated with bows. I can still see it in my mind. I wish I still had that book!

This is your best repaint by far!! No orange subtone, no too much contouring, re-rooted hair so the head doesn't seem as big as it does with wigs, beautiful natural make up and gorgeous hairstile!! Everything is perfect!! And your mum so talented as always! Loved this week video!

EXACTLY what I thought, the shoes weren't glittery they were transparent. But maybe she didn't fancy the effort, it's a huge pain in the butt to make resin molds for shoes

Actually if you read the original book she could have went with gold (the shoes in the original book or story was gold and so was her dress)

This was written sometime between c. 7 BC and c. 24 AD. The Chinese version (Ye Xian, 860 AD approx.) had golden slippers, as did The Brothers Grimm (1812). Perrault seems to be the inventor of the glass slippers (as well as the pumpkin coach and fairy godmother), in 1697. His version seems to have influenced the Disney version the most.

I love how you did two versions of her! It would be amazing if you could do the same with either Ariel, or Ariel’s daughter Melody. Like one in their mermaid form and one in human form. Melody would be cool because she’s one of the princesses that aren’t thought of as often. ❤️

I love this iteration of Cinderella! Her original dress may have been dove grey, but this modern day blue one that your mom made reminds me of the live action one, and that’s beautiful. A perfect mix of classic and contemporary.

I love that you chose a more strawberry blonde hair color rather than the usual yellow blonde! Disney's Cinderella was actually a rusty blonde/strawberry blonde, but over time she's become a blonde in all the merchandise. Her ball gown was actually silver, but it's morphed into the iconic blue one over time too

Lovely doll, even prettier than the poor Cinderella! Your mom did also great job. I would love to see historical doll customs in this channel! Like one doll per a certain century and decade or the most popular styles (like Regency, Rococo, Victorian etc) . There would be A LOT to choose from even if only picked from western fashion history!

I love the dress your mom made for her, its amazing! I love both dolls, so its hard to pick just one lol. Did you know in some of the tellings of cinderella she wears 3 dresses for 3 different nights? If i remember correctly, theres a gold one, a silver one, and i can never remember the last one, maybe it was blue! lol Her shoes i think matched the dresses, i think the glass slipper is a disney thing. I love fairy tales, and especially disney, so i look forward to your next disney themed doll!

This is my favorite doll repaint I’ve ever seen. She’s so stunning. She’s my favorite princess. She has a lot of just small personal touches. I don’t know if she is for sale or not, but she has stolen my heart. She brings back memories of my old Cinderella doll I had as a kid. Thank you so much for doing this princess series.

I’m glad the dress is blue. We grew up loving the Disney cartoon version so changing her too much would take away the nostalgia which is why we like Cinderella 😊

I think I like the "poor" Cinderella just because she's more homely, a little more down to earth. That being said, the ballgown ella is beautiful. She feels like a very Tim Burton style Disney Cinderella, I like it!

Reroot is done when you have synthetic hair that you can push into the holes of the previous hair holes. Wigs are created when the hair is unable to be put in the holes, like when wool is used as the strands are too short.

Love that you went to the trouble of finding the correct hair color. As a child I loved this Disney movie and wondered why they changed from the original light auburn hair and sparkling white dress. She came out simply beautiful!

Perfect hair color! I think the poor Cinderella actually had more makeup on (this one seems to have a more "natural" face). I do like this Cinderella better though. You styled her hair perfectly! Your mother makes gorgeous doll clothes! What a grear team the two of you are.

Omg Poppen! They're both so beautiful!!!! But, I think my favorite is the Ball Gown Cinderella! The strawberry blonde hair and the minimalist makeup look is so beautiful together!!
