Supplies for moss toys:
1) Dried sphagnum moss - found in the reptile/amphibian section of most pet shops and in various online stores.
2) Uncoated wire mesh - found in most hardware stores and some garden/landscaping centres. "Uncoated" means plain silver coloured mesh without any plastic or rubber covering the wire. Chicken wire can be used for creating more intricate designs but may not be strong enough for platforms, ramps or bridges.
3) Wire cutters - If you don't already own a pair you can find them in any hardware/tool shops for a low cost.

Time:
Assembling can take as little as 20 minutes but allow a few days for drying time. You can speed up drying by putting the finished items in an oven (on a tray) at 75C - 100C for several hours. The number of hours will vary depending on the size of the items and the thickness of the moss layers.
The moss must be allowed to dry fully as wet moss may encourage mould growth.
