Maltese artist Matthew Attard will represent Malta at the prestigious Biennale di Venezia International Art Exhibition in 2024. Attard, a 36-year-old PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, is exploring the contemporary legacy of ex-voto graffiti in the project “I Will Follow The Ship”.
Established in 1895, La Biennale di Venezia serves as a platform for exhibiting works by international artists and is recognised today as one of the most prestigious cultural institutions. The 60th edition of the Art Biennale will run from the 20th of April to the 24th of November, 2024.
