Sem is a cool guy. I love that he has musical names for his ice cream. His ice cream looks gorgeous too soft and lovely. Rachel uses a cool mix of flavors in things too I would never think to use dill in a dessert, but my Italian Grammy did put rosemary in one of her thumbprint cookies. Normally she’d leave the base plain and put fresh apricot preserves in the middle. But I had seen her make them with fresh rosemary chopped in the dough and lemon curd in the middle. Really it’s whatever she had when the mood struck her to bake.
