Making Jadwiga: Episode 6 - The Fruits of Her Labor 

The Algridas & Kestutas to Jadwiga 11 mission campaign arc is the best campaign gameplay AND storytelling we've ever had. Honestly, it is a masterpiece. I wish there were RTS gaming awards cause this should/would win something.

Can we take a moment to appreciate the devs giving the community all these fantastic scenario designing tools so we can also make our own custom campaigns? It's one of the things that makes AOE2 unique, and a major reason why I've never tired of the game. There's always something new to play or create!

Just finished Jadwiga, and like it enough that after seeing Ornlu's recommendation on this video series. I binged them practically in one go. This campaign is a master piece, and also shout out to the script writing in the cut scene. I really like the palatable part, somehow it really packs a punch given the great performance of the voice actors (shout out to them too). Great job on the campaign and great video series.

A great series and a great campaign. Gwyndlegard actually got me playing again back in 2011 and now a (much) better player I really enjoyed the Jadwiga campaign. Scenarios 3, 4 and 6 especially are, imo, unique masterpieces.

3:07 "hmmm that still sounds like quitter talk to me" -Filthydelphia, probably. But tbh my very favorite scenarios are the ones that really challenge my strategic approach to that mission. I don't mind having to redo a scenario several times just to find the best possible way of doing things. But I'm also kind of an oddball :P

I don't know if you were also the one behind Algirdas and Kestutis or Jan Zizka, but just saying that, these three campagins are my all-time favourite campaigns from the whole game. I played them on hard and even though I had some difficulty on beating the Vilnius defense one, I've never had so much fun as I had in this DLC

I kept trying over and over again to get enough gold to see if it was recruit 2 separate merc companies. Ending battle was really fantastic!

I wanted to see how you design the AI for these campaigns. The way you make their economy, attack waves and such. Hope you do it one day.

I got into map design because of this series, so thanks for that and thanks for the amazing Jadwiga campaign! Could you tell me what music track is played in the ending cutscene or who made it?

Are people still playing the CD version of the game? That's amazing. I do have sereval questions, do you mean HD version when saying CD or THE actual CD version? Are there many people still playing it and do you have any data how many people might play your future campaign? I am just curious what the numbers are as it seems like a real niche, but I also love the dedication of such people as even I recently returned to the AOE 1 DE and while it seems to be in almost every aspect an inferior version compared to AOE 2 DE, I do have a lot of fun playing it right now.

Hello I was wondering, what was the reference or reason to put the giant Sea Worm in the Bay of Bengal in Rising Star (Rajendra)? Was there something other than a recreation of the Vinlandsaga mechanic? Something anomalous?

So cool serie of videos! One of the best official campaigns for sure! Since I'm here, and that you are actually in touch with the team, I wanted to ask what you think about introducing a "Change Object Name" effect WITHIN the "Modify Attribute" effect's scrolling menu, in such a way that we can finally rename units in a generic manner, without having to go through this gimmicky workaround, looping a normal Change Object Name trigger. The modified name could then show up into the UI (pop-ups signaling the unit creation, and when in queue as well!). I just feel that this very thing is what kills immersion the most and "hurts" creativity in the editor at the moment! I'm curious if that's something you had in mind too. Cheers!

Great series, and great campaign Basse! I hope you get to design more official campaigns in the future I'm curious tho, the bugfixes in the patches for the Jadwiga campaign, are you the one that made them? Or someone else is in charge of that?

Great series. The Jadwiga campaign has also been one of my favorite campaigns in DE. I have a question tho. How do you copy-paste parts from another scenario? Like it was done in Jadwiga 6.

Great series! I honestly enjoyed looking at it. I would like to ask a irrelevant question though, I just bought AOE2 on cd and I installed it I can not play though as it keeps saying open as administrator but when I do that it does not work. I have looked all over the internet and found nothing, do you know anything that can help with this?
