I have a pair that has a plastic casting around it… u could probably get some thick duck tap and wrap the end os your pliers so that no damage to your artwork

Hey if you’re doing these, will you do a video on how you made the heart shaped loc wiring? I love that! I’m going to try what I THINK it would look like. Thanks for the video, super helpful!

U can straighten the wire by pulling up from front to back , the heat of your hands and bending back and forward allows it to straighten

Beautiful video sis. What size gauge are u useing and what length is the wire.
@MargauxChanel
@MargauxChanel 2 года назад
Thank You! I believe I used either 18 or 16g wire for this video. 16g makes a more solid piece though. Maybe even 14g for thicker, more mature locs. But for smaller locs I’d use a thinner, more light weight gauge like 18g.

What thickness was your wire?
@MargauxChanel
@MargauxChanel 4 года назад
This was only an 18g, which is kind of flimsy. I just used it since I was practicing, but if you want something far more solid and will actually hold its shape I would definitely use either a 16g or even 14g. The lower the number the thicker/bigger the gauge (same with ear stretching.)

16g.But for something sturdier use 14g.
