An old Jackall Pompadour is repurposed into a timber version after being retired due to hitting things harder than itself and breaking.
Making lures is one of the only ways I have been able to occupy myself while in stage 4 lockdown.
I have certainly learned a few things along the way & hope to continue learning more about building lures for the fishing i do.

I can't believe how good that came out! If I didn't know better I'd probably think it was just a pompadour haha. I reckon it looks better with the paint job you ended up with so that worked out really well! Nice Lee.

Haha thanks so much mate they are fun to make for sure. The 1st paint job was experimental to say the least lol was happy with the finished result 👍.

That looks amazing can u tell me what kind of wood u use because u make it look easy because I can't seem to get any shape to mine

Hey mate. I am using Pine to make this one. Shaping them takes practice for sure, it definitely helps to draw or trace the shape onto the wood as you go. Thanks for watching 👊
