Making Mascots for the Weirdest Holidays We Could Find 

I think the eat me mommy timer might be the single greatest editing gag in all of drawfee history. Magnificent.

So a few years back, I had a horrible janator job at a retial clothing store. They decided to make chilidogs for everyone in the breakroom to celebrate national chilidog day. When I went in to clean the breakroom after coming in to work, a manager said "Hey when you are done cleaning the breakroom feel free to have a chilidog or two before getting back to work" So I did, and when I went to get up, another manager had stepped in and went "Oh! Hey you are allowed to have those too, stay and have one." In short this kept happening and none of these managers noticed or remembered. In the end and I did no work and just got paid to eat chilidogs all day. This holiday will live forever in my heart!

As someone who wears mascot suits as part of my job at a theme park, Karina’s drawing is exactly how I feel when I’m in the suit

I love that Jacob’s “note” turned into just a random sign that reads Coney Island?? and the fight is just in the middle of a desert

I love how Jacob is like "it's gotta be funny enough" but they immediately turn two chili dog days separated by stilts day into a wildly hilarious premise.

As a Missourian, I really appreciate this episode being dedicated to us. That really helps lessen the pain of having to live in Missouri. Also fun fact: St. Louis, MO has it's own style of pizza just like New York and Chicago.

Obviously the counterpoint to Low Dog is Up Dog I YELLED when Jacob's render came in with "coney island??" came up on the sign instead of the coasters or anything

Sitting down to watch this episode while eating a couple Cincinnati style chili cheese coneys, I certainly wasn't expecting to see a narrative about weird chili dogs fighting at Coney Island. I feel like I summoned something dark into the world.

"The bluebird of happiness" is an idiom that's mostly fallen out of common usage. It's just about bluebirds representing happiness, and seeing one in a way that portends good things coming. It was also the name of a popular song in the 40s

I loved Jacob's drawing so much when it was just the arms sticking out. That version would imply that his legs are inside the costume, and he walks on his hands.

Episode idea: Genre swap telephone! One person designs a character in a specific genre, they hand it off to the next person who does a genre swaped drawing of that character, then the next person draws it in another genre without seeing the first one. Sort of like the fursona telephone episode you did a little while ago.

Finding the Bluebird of Happiness is a plot point in K-PAX, a book by Gene Brewer, (It's also a movie.) and that's the only thing that's coming to mind for me.

These edits! They are amazing! My headcannon is that the Mother Goose is the same as the Mother Goose of the first parade, but she has grown ever since because of all the people she has devoured.

Suggestion: There are many characters based on the 7 Deadly Sins, how about characters based on the 7 Heavenly Virtues. Or Suggestion: Draw Horror Icons as Magical Girls.
