Fluminox5284 - agreed, it’s so good and has so many possibilities, but, after all, having as many possibilities as you can fit in a game os lbp’s thing
Ok I know I have no say here but this is a comment section where you comment on your opinion and such so if they think it’s shit then that’s their opinion if you disagree and call them a worthless dumbass or criticise them then you are twice as bad as what you think they are
My first two years of LBP2 alone, including the Beta, I made around a hundred original songs. So this was a legit thing for a time. I've since moved on to actual DAWs, but my memories of my LBP2 songs will never fade. I still get nostalgic for them.
I think the game is rated just fine but at the moment the community really is dead as lbp restitched for pc is not going to come out for ages and Sony don’t care about an lbp4
If this video had no context and had audio only, no one would even think this banger of a song came from LittleBigPlanet 3. That's just how good it is that you can't even tell its from a game
To be honest, I respect anyone who grew up playing little big planet This is my childhood game, probably along with many other peoples. And through out the years I never knew you could actually make music. This is outstanding
O H Y E A H I was so waiting for that one! This was one of my favorite childhood games! (still playing it from time to time) You did an amazing job, friend, i enjoyed it so much! Keep it up ^^
the music maker on there always had so much potential but was always used for making crappier versions of songs really nice finally seeing someone put it to good use
I'm still playing lbp 3 sometime to create levels or mini games, i was actually creating something, a level with tanks and a Domination mode, but i gave up after creating the tank/damage/riffle logic because the amount of players is very low so i don't think the time spent on it worth it :/ Sorry if my english is bad i'm trench lol but i like to talk about this game ahah LBP was a very unique place where i started to improve my creativity with other people I really liked the fact that the community regroup a lot of people like "me" who like to create everything they want, i can not find people like this IRL Btw i heard about a LBP fan game on PC that is in developpement and it looks pretty good !!!
@Barney 04 ☕ They were probably referring to the hacker attacks at the time making it possible that they shut down LBP3 servers ..but since they didn't, this person didn't wanna say anything
Oh my god my heart. Even watching you fumble through this, I had so much nostalgia. I grew up with this series, and it's been years since I've played any of the games, and the rush of memories that game back as you derped around just made me so happy.
lol i cycled through so many cringey usernames here's a list of them OH GOD ITS LOL XX-IROKKDASKY-XX megacyborg99 puregold17 evilpixy1213 VirusMaster1537 thundergod75LOL ChromeDJ16 DaPlastikPlaya20 BurritoRaptor mister_coconut and then i settled on my current one, Sl1pz Still kinda cringy but not nearly as bad
you should make music a Dreams. it’s made by the same developers as LBP, and it’s a far more ambitious project. it has a fully loaded, feature packed DAW
God, I remember playing every LBP game, especially LBP2, so much when I was younger. The music made in the community on that game, however had it's own distinct style. It was like its own sub genre. Most it sounded like some kind of 16-bit, smooth, electronic, DNB, type music, and unlike a lot of electronic music you hear in many RU-vid videos, (which seems like the closest thing to it, though they are nothing alike) it felt like it had "soul" to it.
every time. the video starts and im like "how is he gonna make THIS into something good?". then the video finished and im like "oh. thats how." amazing
I’ve been playing the littlebigplanet games for years, but have never been good at making music with the music sequencer, so this video was actually pretty helpful as an example for making music in lbp.
God, I LOVE these games. LittleBigPlanet is such an oddly intuitive little game and watching people create things in it. So much nostalgia here, great work!
Its 2010 you've just got off the school bus its friday and your parents let you stay up late, you turn on your ps3 and start Little big Planet 2 with your friends online, you play levels till 2am, life is great.
wow i didnt know little big planet was capable of making music that good........thats impressive. especially since that not even the main thing it does.....
Super sick! Been playing the LBP series for over a decade now and didn't know you could do half of this with the music tools. I mostly stick to tech, game consoles, and computers, which closely lines to my profession. I'm trash at making music honestly, would love to trade creations with you sometime if you'd want to mix some music for an adventure map I gave up on because the LBP3 server literally cannot handle it due to the logic and scenery being too complex; the ONE thing it is missing is music if you'd ever want to help, then I can just back it up and host it on a website for people to download, and play however they wish. It was meant to be an adventure about collecting games, which would give the player the ability to create their own after they play it with all of the tools and logic bits I've created since the LBP2 beta. My dream was to give the LBP and now Dreams community the ability to create their own retro games in the most simplistic way possible. Being a game designer myself, I know how difficult it is to get started, and that some people just need that extra little nudge. I know I've needed quite a few when I got started. I want to make a series where I go back in and dive into my creations over the past eight years and really explain the process, and reasoning behind why I am making it. Also show players how to create a lot of the assets, logic, and games that I made over the years. Not just games, but be able to create their own proprietary logic systems to be able to play those games and not really have to worry about other players stealing them and claiming them as their own. Essentially their own game consoles, like I did myself. If your interested, please reply, or just get in touch.
