I just got Dubler at a very very discounted price ebay and I was looking for tips on how to use it your video hands down is the best love the arpeggio awesome would have loved to see how you created that patch I guess that's another video nice one....... 👍🏼
you're welcome! you could definitely try it out yourself and see if it works. and my name is "dolltr!ck" in all lowercase letters with the exclamation point :)
Great review! Since you were using a third party mic and not the proprietary dubler one, did you have any issues with latency and accuracy of the drums being triggered by your beatboxing? I am a beatboxer and was wondering if dubler would be capable of picking up more complex rhythms with a third party mic? All the reviews I’ve seen say that the proprietary dubler mic provides the best response.
thanks! minimal latency from my experience so far (though latency is often contingent on one's entire system, not just the mic itself). vochlea's recommendation for the proprietary dubler mic pertains more to the algorithms that pick up the different sounds that one will create, rather than latency.
Thanks for the reply. I sometimes whistle out of tune but I assume I can then go back and re-pitch any bum notes that were recorded into my DAW. @@dolltrick
