👁 About this video : It's time for some more clearance and a great sound! In today's video I finally install an offroad exhaust from Rogue Offroad onto my 3rd Generation Toyota Tacoma! Ever since my offroad damage I have been wanting to change up the exhaust and some other parts that I have coming. This is a great way to prevent this from happening again or in the first place had I gone with a system like this. The process to install is very straight forward, if you have the 6ft bed you eliminate the cutting, but even doing that is simple. Everything from the kit lined up great, zero fitment issues and sounds really good! Definitely check out Rogue Offroad as they have tons of parts for the Tacoma and even other brand trucks! @@thebigboss024 It's nice, but it's loud especially on the highway. I'm going to be changing it out again because of that, it's the loudest exhaust I would recommend for this truck. If it dumped closer to the rear bumper it would probably be a little quieter!

This is the first Tacoma that I've seen without the exhaust on the passenger side. I love the rugged sound to this. I'm not sure if it's a popular thing with the Taco but dual exhausts with the tailpipes through the back tailgate would look so dope on this truck!

Hey guys I installed that mbrp exhaust last year in a Buddies garage who used to work for Toyota he said it was the easiest exhaust to put together he's ever had to do and he's put together hundreds really like the tone it's loud but it's not too loud

I'm interested in getting the same exhaust on my 2019 Tacoma. How does the sound of this compare to your old AFE (or even stock)? Do you get any problems with heat or fumes from the down-turn exhaust?

I haven't noticed any fumes or anything different from the other exhaust I had! Just know that it is louder, this is probably the loudest that I would want for a daily driver truck. It kind of has a rasp to it sometimes, but I think I've gotten use to it lol. It's not crazy loud but you can hear it.

I want to get this exhaust, is there any difference between the mbrp 3' exhaust and the a regular mbrp exhaust, the 3 inch one is 100 dollars more, is the sound different? Or is it just a wider exhaust

I think the regular one doesn't have the "high tuck" design, so it will run all the way to the back of the truck, so just depends if you want to hide it or not. With my high clearance bumper this is really the only one I can use.

I bought the same exhaust but it is loud in the cab. I went back and added the exhaust to the back of the truck. Great exhaust and added more power to the motor.

Same exhaust on my 18 Tacoma except mine goes all the way back out the side but sounds good especially with it being a 6 speed manual

@@squirreldog1596 i believe he was trying to say that with a manual you feel and hear the sound better as you control the shift points... automatics stock have bad shift points making any exhaust sound low and not clear.

I noticed you auto started your truck and got in without it shutting off...how did you manage that?! I’ve been told by Toyota and multiple shops that they can’t do an autostart that doesn’t shut off when I open the truck door...

What you didn't see was the transition in the edit lol, it shuts off every time you open a door. It's a safety feature and especially being aftermarket you'll never have it stay running like the Jeeps can!

I'm convinced there is no hope for the tacomas exhaust... Put a flowmaster outlaw extreme catback on mine. I ran outside from my work bc it sounded like someone was driving off with my truck- it was a civic....😢 this one in the clip actually sounds like the quietest system I've heard yet, and might still get them mpg gains... might give it a try.... maybe... might also just throw 2 electric dumps in just after the cats...

I've had a borla, mbrp, awe, magna flow. All but one have sounded very nice!! You can definitely get a great sound out of the tacoma v6! This is the loudest exhaust I've had on the truck BY FAR!!!! It's very loud dumping right behind the rear seats!!! I'd go with the last exhaust I had, the AWE true dual exhaust! Guys i was looking at this same exhaust for my 2019 OR but was wondering if you were getting any fumes coming back in the cab when sitting at a red light since this system moves the dumping of the fumes much closer to the cab area.

I don't have any issues with that! That was a concern for me, but I've driven it around enough to know you'll be good. Ive driven around with the exhaust off before, and you can smell it for sure, this is a good set up.

For off-roading you should do a diff relocations for the rear diff by routing the breather the the storage compartment in the bed I sent some photos of mine that I did on Instagram, it will help pervert it from pulling in Water and getting clogged by mud

I have been speaking with RobMotive about his Taco, and wanted to know on 2 things. The exhaust and air intake switch, are they both worth the switch from the stock? The black out stickers on the truck looks sweet, did you get it done professionally? I have a 2017 TRD Sport and wanted to take the 4 x 4 sticker off and do something like that. what is your opinion ?

Depends if you want to add some sound to the truck, the intake is mainly for more sound in the higher rpm range, you won't hear it much just cruising, but the exhaust you will definitely hear anytime to touch the gas. How loud would you want it? This one I currently have is as loud as I would want it. And I wrapped the sides myself! @@devildoc6749 It's just a matte black wrap, I used knifeless tape to cut all the lines, it's not hard to do, but a little time involved, check out that video! You might want to try it yourself!

gnarly sound with the exhaust off, but i like the new installation more for a daily driver. are you getting a new rear bumper? a cage/skeleton style or a whole replacement? cutting off the bent body part? im excited to see whats coming. any plans on small electronic mods inside the cab? its too warm for heated seats, but that would be a fun install vid including seat covers.

@@smaqdaddy Oh gotcha. Good point. The trucks factory undercoating is pretty strong and can last for a few decades. So far mine still looks perfect. Maybe on some trucks that don't have modern build quality. But I think modern trucks don't really need to worry about that
