@HattieJosh I mean if you want to just ignore entire chunks of careers, then maybe you could have a point, but they have the same number of top 10 finishes this year. They both have 4, but Austin has a win. He also has more laps led. He's only behind in points by about as many as that penalty he recieved. Neither of them has had a decent season this year. Austin has had at least one good season in his career. Ryan has not. Let's not bring Ty into this, he's suffered enough. Lol!
My champ 4 predictions are William Byron, Kyle Larson, Tyler Reddick, and Christopher Bell For the ones that don’t make it Chase Elliott: he could make it in but bell and Reddick has shown speed at Round 8 tracks so I didn’t see him doing well Ryan Blaney: I was thinking either Bell or Blaney but I choose Bell because Bell has a higher cushion and is better at round 8 tracks Denny Hamlin: Hasn’t shown good championship speed so I don’t see it happened but like with Elliott he could make it Joey Logano: only got in because Bowman hop curb but yet again he could pull a shocker and keep the even year streak Thanks for coming to my yapping session
that would be amazing if he didn't make it, but 33 point buffer and three tracks he does great at, sadly he's gonna make it. But he won't win the championship, I hope.
Blaney has the best average finish of any of the playoff guys over the last finish at each of the next 3 tracks - 2nd at Homestead, 3rd at Vegas and 5th at Martinsville.
@@christhompson3172 agreed. In general, I feel like the 9 team has another gear but need their back against the wall to unleash it. Texas, they were more agressive and coincidentally they won there.

I did my predictions before the playoffs, and I had Reddick winning the championship, with Larson, Bell, and Byron making it too. I kinda wish I could take that back 😂

Just because you said Logano won't advance, you know he's gonna win on a quadruple overtime at Martinsville where he moves the leader in the final corner like he did in 2018, thanks for confirming that the prophecy will stand true. If there's one thing I'm sure about when it comes to Joey Logano, is that he finds a way in these moments and that's what has made him a two-time champion.

Here’s mine: Reddick will win at Vegas and lock into the championship 4. Next at homestead, Larson will win there. At Martinsville, a non playoff driver will win and the eliminations will be Elliot, Blaney, Hamlin, and Logano.
I reckon Larson and Bell are very safe bets to make the final 4, but the other two spots look pretty up in the air. At the start of the playoffs I thought Reddick and Blaney would make it, and I'm sticking with it. Larson's looking tough to beat for this championship, but I'd love to see Reddick take it.
Even if Reddick does make the final four, Ross will still be the only driver outside of the Penske, Hendrick, Gibbs stables to have made the final four in the last 5 years. 23xi is Gibbs. They have a six car comp meeting every single Monday.
If Tyler Reddick can put it all together and win the championship as his team is prepping for litigation against the sanctioning body it will be the greatest thing ever.
If Byron wins the title this year. It'll be just like Blaney's. Started the season strong, ended the season strong, and was a no show during the summer.
Kyle Larson, William Byron, Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney nudges out Chase Elliott but that could be a toss up. I think Larson would be the clear favorite to win it all but I wouldn’t count out Logano.

Idk about who is in the top 4...homestead results last year were 1.bell. 2.blaney 3. Reddick. 4.Byron...Hamlin and Larson both were contenders but that just shows you how close it is.

I think Eric missed one major detail when picking his championship 4. HMS just had a massive blunder, and are embarrassed... In their self promoted 40th year run. I think HMS is going to come out swinging in a MASSIVE way to put all three in the final round. Then the narrative will be... "what if" the Bowman penalty never happened.
I'm sure that if the Bowman DQ didn't happen, HMS wouldn't really care then right? They going to come out swinging anyways lol. Bowman had nothing to do with that. They prep these cars and setups months in advance.

What are you thinking; Denny is not going to the payoff finial 4. 23IX unless they will their next court date by getting the Judge to agree with them that they are going to suffer damage or even go bankrupt over the Charter issue. The Judge isn't going to care that they said they will race either with or without a charter. Their media statement didn't say the charter issue would cause them damage or not. The reason Nascar isn't selling their carter to a different team is because Nascar knows they are going to have to give 23IX and Front Row the charter back. Hass can still lease the charter to these teams for a year. Front row is a Ford team so he could just run Front Rows new car under the Haas name. Ford is not going to allow 23IX to run Toyota under Haas''s name. RFK might be able to pick up Haas other car.
