This week I dive in to the final pieces of the build, but mainly I make my own tailshaft for my RB30 turbo VN commodore (drive shaft, prop shaft, tail shaft depending where you are from as to what its called). I have definitely done this quite a few times, but please if you are not confident doing something like this your self pay someone to do it. A tail shaft spinning at 8000rpm has a lot of load on it and can be very dangerous so keep that in mind. That being said, I'm very happy with how its coming along and NEXT WEEK I will be ready to turn that key for the first time!! I'm very excited!
I'm also approaching 6 months since I picked this car up! I'm stoked with how far its come in that time considering I'm a one man band and I only get to do this on my days off work.
Please let me know what you think, hit the like button or leave a comment and don't forget to subscribe to catch my new videos! I really appreciate everyone tuning in every week!!
Thanks for watching everyone!
