I painted my first crank bait cause you made it look fun. It was a perch.

My grandfather was asking me “what the hell is that noise!”?? And I replied “ I’m watching marling baits scrub his wood” so now I took the batteries out his hearing aid.

I know you probably won’t see this but you mean soo much to us and have inspired me to start making lures me and my dad are gathering equipment e.g. airbrush paint screw eyes

You should send out a bait to a random person every month and see if they can make it ofishal.

Man- I listen to a lot of different styles of music myself but, you just went from Tool to Elton John. That's a massive culture shift in one listening session. I like both but, I wouldn't put them in the same play list.

This could not have come at a better time!! I have been wanting to make a lipless bait, mold ect, I made a sweet little top water popper using this method and the bait works great! So I plan on doing a top water walking bait, a lipless and maybe a jerkbait... not enough hours in the day 😪

They also cut deep and you'll go minutes before you even notice. One of the best bait makers using one of the best blades

You should make a generic clipless crank bait pdf so that people that want to get into making bait but don't know where to start

Try making as much as lures you can in 24 hours, (can be soft plastic, hard lures, etc.) edit: but you have to make one of each kind( top water, deep swimming crankbait and others)

Addicted to this channel. As a fisherman, carpenter and artists this puts all the hobbies together. Unfortunately do to time and money restrictions I think I will have to try this after retirement lol.

You've convinced me to get into bait making. I got a miter saw, sander, air brush, and I'm going to pick up a band saw. Super stoked to do this. I've always loved tools and woodworking but never knew what I'd like to make. I love fishing too... so easy choice I can't draw worth crap, I wonder if you have some kind of art background. You do a fantastic job painting and drawing. I hope I get good at it one day I can almost guarantee though I will get too attached to my first lure and won't use it
