isaac talking about how its becomes hard to maintain relationships with people that arent doing the same things as you and in different life stages. i totally agree but i also think its so important to maintain those relationships and find the bridges cause otherwise you end up in such a bubble of perspectives. but you def need both people to be aware that thats a factor so one person isnt putting in more work.

I agree strongly! I find that having friends in different fields helps me have more perspectives on life and like you’ve said, help me get out of my bubble as well. That said, friendships like that does take investing into.

I share the same answer at Isaac about giving about 30 min after the meetup if someone cancels. Life happens. We all need a little grace at times. I would be much more worried if my friend past away in an accident, then if that person just forgot because that person was distracted by family challenges or something else. Granted, I might be annoyed a bit depending on the reason, but for the most part, you have to learn how to enjoy life even if you are by yourself.
