Yo man. Hella inspired to make my own Cuban after this. I’m wondering what gauge your 14k was before making jump rings and the final width of the bracelet with that gauge. What do you use to wrap the wire around? I have only been able to find round metal rods and not the oval kind that you need for that shape, I appreciate any info on what or where you get that shaped metal from.

You can use round brass rods. Take them and flatten them a little using your rolling mill, that's how u get the oval shape. There is a good book by Alan Revere called "Professional Jewelry Making". In it he explains how to make different types of chains and rings, I think clasps too, including the cuban link.
