Part 1 of 2 Recorded Via S-VHS transfer. I'm going to upload a single upload of this once my youtube copyright stuff gets taken down. I also re-recorded it so the colors aren't so WASHED OUT!
This is one of the last truly great action blockbusters done practically, before everything went CGI. Which means in a lot of ways it'll never be surpassed.
@@rap6439 4.0 is bad to the point that it went against what Die Hard is about. Let's also not pretend that it doesn't have more in common with A Good Day than with the first three films.
@@grahamjackmacpherson6501Since this comment was posted, its come out that Bruce Willis has been hiding seriously progressive dementia. So his behaviour is mostly his frustration not being able to work or remember lines. In his last few films, he had cue cards.
The first time I watched this movie was with my grandfather back in the mid 90s when I was a little kid. Loved it. Haven’t seen it in over 25 years. Flashback city.
I hate it for anybody who didn't grow up in the 90s. This is how action movies are supposed to be! This is the last I repeat the last great action movie of our time. Now everything nowadays is cliche as hell the pretty girl the sexy man the evil bad guy and a lot of CGI graphics boring!!! I'm only 28 years old and I already miss the 90's
The last REAL Die Hard film. Just an hardcore, old school action thriller from the mid 90s. Probably the last of it's kind which is a real shame. Nowadays most action films are all shaky cam and CGI. Where's the grit, the blood and the badass and likeable characters like John McClane?
I've been re-watching a lot of 1980s and 1990s action films and it's amazing how awesome the squibbing is, something we almost don't see anymore in any films. Everything now is just like you mentioned, shaky cam and CGI blood. And oh boy do I abhor CGI blood!
There’s no way they would rig up whole subway stations and central park like they did for this film anymore. Oddly films still cost a shit tonne without all of this though .
Such a great context. A legendary film from the such an iconic series. In my opinion, the second best from the series, with the first Die Hard in First, but this is extremely close too it. Legendary cast, characters, storyline, soundtracks, comedy, and really action-packed, a film worth watching, and will always be known as legendary. Bruce Willis as John McClane never fails, and add Samuel? Iconic. A honest great throwback of a film, sad that they don't make films like these anymore, it was truly ahead of it's time. As I like to say, for these clips man. Can''t stress this enough!
@@goranhrastovik5364 First was a classic, but the third film is just top to bottom entertaining thanks to how expansive and unpredictable it is. I also love how well New York is filmed here. I can't think of another movie that captures New York as if it's a realized playground of destruction.
What a perspective & making of this masterpiece film. A film, that in my honest opinion comes very close to the first film in being the greatest with the first film being first. A legendary cast, storyline, soundtracks, comedy, lots of action, intensity and emotion. Humorous as well. So much to say about this film. Like its a never ending page of words. Bruce Willis as John McClane truly never fails, and adding Samuel really makes it even more dynamic & iconic with there duo/partnership, like who knew it would be perfect chemistry, literally a masterpiece, like who knew they would work so well together. Like I said earlier, sad that they don't make movies like these anymore, truly way ahead of its time, and a great throwback to the original & first film. 4.30.23 (A movie I got myself, for my birthday on the 19th of April alongside my twin brother @E.D). and a great throwback along the many years when we all saw it. Not only that, but even bringing it back to the first its one of the greatest action movies of all time. An iconic, legendary, standout, and amazing film awhich brings it back to the first & orignal film, but not quite the greatest, it falls second in comparison. Truly unforgettable, especially every scene throughout it, which was just so iconic, amazing and so much to say about these films. Like its a never ending page of words. Like if you're picking out a perfect action film to watch that will always make you on the edge of your seat filled with emotion and always focused this one of the best picks/films to watch, starting from the first all the way to the fifth. Just goes to show how advanced this movie was at its time, and how even today keeps up with being the greatest action film of all time, along with the first Die Hard. One word; a masterpiece throwback to the orignal & first film. Miss the times, when the effects were much more realistic & not just done digitally.
Holy fuck. I remember this doc being on the telly and my mind was blown, couldn't believe there was a new die hard. 14 year old me salutes whoever put this up.
It's because in the previous scene he got cut up by that wire, part of which was lodged in his arm/shoulder and he was in excruciating pain, breathing hard and completely in shock.
Die Hard IMO is probably one of the greatest action films I've ever watched. 2 of my favorite action movies were directed by John Mc. Predator being the other one...Oh and True Lies by James Cameron
Awesome video uploader !!!! I grew up watching these. DH 2 is my fav but I thought DH3 was awesome, they injected a comedy kind of thing into it. Bruce and Samuel are a great team :D
Interesting at the 6:37 mark in this video they changed the background some so the WTC towers aren't visibile. Ive seen other versions of this footage where you can see them easily. This clip at 1@37 has the same sequence and the towers are clearly visible Die Hard with a Vengeance deleted scenes and outtakes - DVDvision #3 - Mars 2000 - Archives DVD #3
Any one notice how when Simon says hook line and sinker and when mclane and Zeus are running the twin towers has been airbrushed out the screens that were in the original
Obviously, the original Die Hard was the best but it is hard to tell which one was better out of the second one and this third one because the second one had more action but also many innocent deaths but that third one was boring but it had more careful action with less innocent deaths.
Third one was not boring. You're probably a fan of the 4th Die Hard in name only movie. Lots of action in that one with dumb plot and safer pg-13 Die Hard. Disgraceful.
i agree that is probably a shame a action movie with CGI and a lot of action movies in the nillies it was'n the same action movie with stunts of practical and practical effects
you walked on a glass floor, id figure throwing yourself at a cargo would be like jumping on a bed for someone like you.......by the way where were you in die hard 5...........I saw bruce....but sure as hell not you, were you on vacation, trying to get back with holly or some shit like that
