Seriously, who in the world would think of a concept album like this at this time! I swear to god Lupe Fiasco is one the best story tellers in the rap game!
I think Lupe is a great writer and story teller and one of the best rappers to ever do it but there’s this whole story in his head that doesn’t really translate all that much on the actual songs and records as a whole lol
It would translate a lot better on a strip, but this is still one of the best concepts for an album for even attempting it. A lot of details are left out most like it, but its for the astute listener to animate it in their mind.
