My favorite scene is when Neil Patrick Harris starts talking about “sheeple” and control. That scene was really deep

I don't understand all the hate... yes, maybe the fighting scenes are not as iconic as in the first movie... but it was still pretty badass in my opinion. I liked the love story and of course the message to wake up and start thinking about what is essential in life: freedom, love and peace of mind.

I haven't even seen the film yet, but I can see from clips what they were going for. I think they got there, but like TENET and some other high concept pieces, many people just can't think deeply enough to get the crammed in philosophy in 1 go. Multiple viewings required. I think this film will become beloved in time.

This whole time I was watching this movie I was just thinking if John wick.

I really wonder why this movie has so much hate. I loved it! Love the new fresh air it gives, changing the formula. All the new actors/actresses are absolutely great doing their character.

Honestly the first time I watched it I felt like it missed out on an awe inspiring moment, like when NEO decides to grab the helicopter rope as if he believed he could stop it by himself only for Trinity to shoot the clip freeing her for him to pull up the side of the building...HOWEVER NOW THE I'VE SEEN IT THREE TIMES I finally get it...it was all on purpose...all the simplistic, all the mundane, all the realism...I'm not going to sit here and explain it for everyone but I will say that this movie is a place holder...and a spring board for all the new lore to be explored hopefully in a show moving forward or a series of shows. If there is another movie it should be to wrap everything up and end it. The only criticism I have is that there needed to be a breather before the dojo fight...and a couple other places to set the tone better for what was about to happen. BUT we weren't supposed to get a new bullet time or another helicopter scene ETC...The movie showed us a doubtful depressed, Mellon collie NEO and Thomas Anderson and is WHY he had less power. Trinity's awakening is more along the line of what NEO experienced in the first film which is why she was more powerful right off the bat...IF I'M COMPLETELY HONEST I wanted another Matrix 1 or 2 but this movie had to happen to make what's coming next...!!!support the movie!!! or this might just BE IT and all she wrote...and that would be the biggest shame of all.

You really can tell that a lot of the people who were involved in the first three did not return. These include the original stunt and fight team, the CGI artists, the set designers, and even the costume designers. Yuen Woo-Ping was really missed in this one. They even did not get the fashion right. Remember when the original trilogy made people want to wear catsuits and long black trench coats? It was so cool back then. Now its just cold. It made us realize that these people mentioned were as much stars as Keanu and Carrie Ann Moss. It just was never the same without them.

Why did this movie look like crap? What happened to the long continuous fight scene shots? The just kept cutting the camera and shaking it all the time so you can’t tell what’s going on. Was this low budget or something?

There is more force pushing in this matrix film than star wars. We wanted matrix fights

I loved the film. It makes fun of everyone that is poisoning this world. From what I can tell, all the people it was making fun of, are all the people who didn't like, or even hate, the film. There are multiple monologues that just straight up mock the lives we currently live. I can only imagine, if you didn't like the film, it was because it was little too close to the truth and hurt your feelings. My favorite line, and one that is very significant in todays media/climate: "If we don't know what's real, we can't resist." That basically sums up the constant stream of BS the government and the media are feeding everyone, just keeping everyone confused, making enemies out of nothing, dividing us so much we don't even know where to point the gun. Every headline, every speech, every reccomendation, mandate, whatever, are littered with subtext and subterfuge. If you take information as it is given to you, you are taking the blue pill, that simple.

Lady Carrie still Cute as Trinity in the original masterpiece

I loved this film, the story telling was epic

Not as good as the first three films. But I did enjoy the action scenes and acting especially from Carrie Ann Moss and Keanu Reeves.

This felt like a TV movie. Yet this movie had the biggest budget out of all the Matrix movies. I don't get why it looks so cheap and sloppy.

The actors sound like when you're writing an essay and you're out of ideas... you just start to say whatever or repeat certain stuff.

Film industry is 126 years old. The first Matrix was 20 years ago. That's about a 5th of the history of film. I haven't seen this movie but if I do see it, I have already considered and calculated change in the equation. It's about a 25 percent difference. 🎥🎬 I'm not expecting the same as 20 years ago. Lots has changed since then.

Action and fight scenes were so "artificial"/weak compared to The Trilogy. Dialog depth... blah blah blah
