As a 1/10 scale RC car street basher and speed runner who builds his own cars from ready made hobby parts (mostly,I do still fabricate some parts myself ) I can really respect the detail they've put into creating and painting those model bodies- Nice job and long live Formula E!

Yup the city factor is kinda good! When I first saw the TVC promo of Formula E it clearly made me amaze about these cars racing in top cities of the world around top monuments! That was first attraction towards it and then it's getting better and better! Immense respect for the initial Teams and promoters to take that risk and now they nailed it!!!!! Love from India!

Awesome "Behind the Scenes" video. It provided great insight into the effort, skills, and technology that goes into this type of visual production. Hats off to Millar Models and Chalk Studios and what they were able to scale down using digital/scanned data. Rhino is an incredible tool and I loved watching Mark using it to manipulate the CAD files. A job well done to all involved.

I've always seen gen2 cars as upscaled rc models and i don't like the new gen because of that, but the rc model is so cute, it is the perfect size and the shapes are perfect for a crazy, quirky rc car. I love it

Electricity doesn't come from nowhere and in most countries the majority of energy production isn't clean. You're just trading one source of emissions for another. That aside great camera work and a really interesting film.

This is explained in the doco. They want to promote battery tech and renewability, not just replacability.

Probably the worst thing you can do to Formula-E is make the cars seem even MORE like RC cars. That’s why F1 is still cooler.

Competitive rc cars (1/10 scale) can reach up to 130 kph. Check REDRC channel where you can see all the international rc car races

What is the difference between a $40,000 electric truck and an e-formula car? Apart from the fact that one does 0-60mph in just 2.5 secs. Hence, both being in the supercar territory.
