Synopsis:
"Sui Dhaaga - Made in India" is a heartwarming story of pride and self reliance, which finds its roots in the heart of India and reflects the passion that runs through the veins of every single Indian. Taking the message of "Made in India" forward, the film modestly tries to bring back our traditional art forms and handicrafts in focus. The film is helmed by National award winning Producer - Director Duo of Maneesh Sharma and Sharat Katariya (Dum Laga ke Haisha) and features Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles.
Through the hero & his wife, film talks about the need of social entrepreneurship as a tool for social and economic development of our artisans, living their life in the margins due to the changing times. Set in a small town in India, the film encapsulates the journey of an honest man from a humble background, who pursues his passion, overcoming all odds and soon finds himself on the cover of an international magazine with the world taking note and appreciating his talent.
A clean family entertainer, the film emphasizes virtues like honesty, self respect and community living.

omg....what can i tell about this movie.............i watched this movie today and i was soooo stunned to c their acting....really hats of for varun and anushka's acting.....they have just nailed it.......and i am a very big fan of vd soooo he is the soul of this movie......i can c how much they have actually worked.....they have really worked hard and i personally feel its 10 on 10 on for this movie and for the sui dhaaga team .....loved the movie......its gonna be a super duper hit...........#sui dhaaga forever

i love this film. the two stars, Varun Dhawan & Anushka Sharma, i believe, are at their best act ever. and fortunately good for them,, they are also supported by excellent actors for "the Family". wonderful blend of laugh, cry, cheers, madness, anger, dignity... all are done very good. Sharat Katariya has done a very beautiful masterpiece !

nitish goyal she is a tatti human being in reality. Full of fake attitude and very very rude with people. The spot boys and the crew on the movie was fed up of her queen behaviour. They doesn't show you this here but reality is very sad. There were various instances in the making of film where various ladies came to help anushka with the role, she never said hello to anyone, always had a star attitude and also never even care to ask the name of Mrs Sarita desai, who was 67 years old lady which helped Anushka in many scenes. Yes they will never show you this. I was on working in the photography and visual department on this movie and the behaviour she has shown behind the camera was disgusting. I wish people could know these stars are no fuckig stars. Empty and shallow from inside. Anushka also made fun of sashi the spot boy, more than 100 times. Also made fun of his girlfriend. If same thing happens with her, it's very offensive and disturbing for her. She is a double standard women. I never pray bad for anyone but i just wish her a very bad luck and may God gives her some sensibility so that she should start respecting people. No wonder why Anushka and virat get along so nicely, because they both have a dirty mind and respect no one.
