This album is my favourite of all time. It was made to celebrate Larry Adlers 80th birthday (he was a personal friend of Gershwin).When I first discovered it in 1994 I was attracted to it because of all the artists who were current at the time - such as Elton John, Cher, Kate Bush, Sting, Jon Bon Jovi, Meatloaf, Elvis Costello and many others. When I saw it was produced by Beatles producer George Martin that was me hooked. Give it a listen.
