honestly i really enjoyed this. i've never even heard of Otzdarva, but it's been really cool to see Frost teach someone--plus Otzdarva is really funny, especially with both him and Frost bouncing off of each other would love to see a collab like this again!!

i think a good challenge would be something similar to otz's 50 win streak challenges, but something easier, like 20 or 15 wins, since getting to rank 1 is just a matter of trying over and over, I'd say that getting a couple wins in a row is a better show of skill

DbD goal: maybe getting Adept achievements on like 10 killers? I feel like that's a good challenge

DBD Goal: Hardcore escape streak with Otz… basically as long as either one of y’all survive at least 15-20ish games in a row, you win! You just can’t BOTH die… once you’re dead, you’re permanently considered “dead” for the rest of that attempt, so it becomes a “protect the president” kind of situation

The problem with your proposed DBD challenge with rank 1 is that it doesn't actually affect anything. A lot of people seem to think it affects MMR it doesn't it's just a number that turns into currency on the 13th of every month A better challenge would be I don't know two 4k on all the basic characters. Or 4K all the basic characters in a row

This is my favorite collab of the year (so far). You two bounce off of eachother's humor was so fun and to hear both of you be theoretical about this game was *Awesome*

After watching both of these videos I just picked back up the game, hopped into the run as ironclad (I don’t play very much so all I had unlocked was ascension 2) and beat the heart with brimstone easily. This content is actually super helpful. Plus otz is super great.

One DBD challenge that I think might be equivalent to the slay the spire challenge Otz committed himself to, is to choose a killer (I'm going to assume you are going to lean towards killer for more agency), and just win 10 games in a row with it using all it's addons. Just learn the ropes with one killer somewhat and murder 10 group of survivors. The other ideas I've seen is more equivalent to unlocking ascension 20 as opposed to actually doing something once it's unlocked. At least that's how it feels.

Otz's All Perk Streak would be a great challenge to try out especially to really see all sides of the game from a killer perspective.

This 4 hour run made him SOO tired by the end, it was so clear how he needed some sleep in the last hour

DBD could go two routes depending on how you want to tackle it. You can go for a specific achievement or set of achievements (like adepts), or people often to winstreaks. Both pretty doable.

I think learning trapper from one of the biggest trapper mains would make sense and it would tie in to the strategic thinking aspect really well. Now teach him the Watcher.

Hello! 3k hours in dbd, recent subscriber to Frostprime, Balatro addict here: I would suggest perhaps a 4k streak, playing each killer in order of release if you're a killer player. Similarly an escape streak could be exciting if you're a survivor player. Alternatively, seeing you attempt getting adept on every killer/survivor might also be interesting journey. Good luck!

46:40 I hold that Sever Soul, at least in terms of design intention, is comparable to cards like Predator and Wheel Kick: big two cost cards which aid in draw. In this sense, theoretically, it should be really good. However, something about the Clad’s card pool makes it fairly subpar.. My thinking is that there are simply better sources of actual draw, better sources of exhaust, and better options for two cost attacks and for two cost cards in general, that sever soul is basically outclassed on all fronts. It’s like a jack of all trades, master of none. It’s not bad but when, for instance, second wind does the same thing for half the cost and rewards you with block for each card exhausted, it makes several soul feel like a mediocre pick overall

As a fellow dbd player/ streamer a challenge could be just getting to iri 1 its roughly 1 month total time period per rank reset so it feels achievable

a dbd "challenge" is kinda hard to come up with. with it being a multiplayer game the volatility of how difficult a match will be is incredibly high. i guess a simple one is a small win streak, survivor would be harder, but allows otz to play with you, killer otz can critique you as you play or review a vod with you.

The first two videos were great, and Frost is awesome at teaching, but by the end of this one it hurt to watch otz stressing over the simple turns while bumbling through the complex ones playing in bad order

I wont mind If you two would do IT again, cuz i also learned some new stuff and i am following you a really Long Time and got to ascention 20 on every Charakter beides the purple Just because i dont Like playing her that much. And i am also a claw and Shiv Guy 😂❤

ranks means nothing anymore id say a good challenge would be maybe getting the adept challenges for all the base game cast or a bit passed the base cast since it would mean u would have to escape or kill them all once i think for each survivor. that said im new came from otz and stayed for u

Maybe have like 5 or 6 wins or something without losing a teammate and have a hero and killer retraction goal? Something like a sabotaging the killer n making sure some random done get murdered. Hope to see anything though u got this!

I don't understand. He's already at A20 and has 400 hours in but he seems like a beginner when he has to block or draw.
