I used to make my paper beads with a knitting needle too until I splurged and treated myself to some tools. The tools make It much easier. Paper beads are relaxing and addictive.
You are so right Robin, the tools make a world of difference. I'm all about using what you have and making it work, so the knitting needles certainly will get the job done.......but the tools make it so much easier hehehee
Hi Lisa, Thank you for this video, nice to see how they are made, a few years ago my hubby made me a tool for quilling paper, I got a big darning needle inserted the sharp end into a round bit of dowel and then ground of the end where you have the hole, and that has worked for me quite well, Love your bead making, they look pretty, TFS, Cheers Anna.
yeah Oleta, I know what you mean.. My husband LOVES it when I quilt and he ENCOURAGES me to quilt.. lol lol I think he likes his ALONE time with his Tv and NO chatter from me coz I am in another room with my sewing machine.. lol lol God bless you..
I think Harlen feels the same way sometimes....but I can always tell when I've lost track of time because after a while he will come in checking on me..........mostly when it comes close to time to eat hahahahhaa!!!
I’ve Never seen this craft before...didn’t even know it existed 😮 ...it was wonderful to watch and I can see the many possibilities of those cute little beads..but.. I don’t think I’ll have the patience and yes I would be messy 🤷♀️. Love watching though 😂💐

I made/bought all kinds of beads and bought turkey pins and added beads and made stilettos. Is your brother scan n cut a 2 or 350? looking in to buying one and so many flavors out there. I want to cut fabric and paper. I have PES in my Babylock EMB machine, and want to use the SGV. ty
I go all the way to the ends......I think you just want to make sure you don't get any powder inside the openings as it may clog it up and make the hole smaller :)
