Why didn't you show how to actually bond the veneer to the shell and create nice butt joints? The drum looks killer, but seeing what I've mentioned done would have been very helpful to understand.

Beautiful work! How do you cut the shell fresh out of the mold to have edges perfectly perpendicular to the sides (ie. the step before cutting bearing edges)?
