Thanks! Yeah, I used to avoid tilting my blade once I had it dead on 90 deg and didn't want to mess it up, but now it's actually fun doing stuff with angles.

More great ideas. Creasing the paper and using post it notes are clever ideas.

Thanks Chris! Yeah, I've done the crease thing before but don't think I ever showed it in a video. Works perfectly.

Great vid stevie... I was thinking of putting small molding around the bottom and tops of them. Seen it somewhere on youtube. You did an excellent job my friend as always. Will be putting a link into my woodworking faebook group!!! God Bless...
@SteveCarmichael
@SteveCarmichael 5 лет назад
Thanks Michael! I like the molding idea. I planned to use the table saw to cut some shallow decorative lines around the outside of one of them, but forgot.

Hey Mac! Thanks! This was gonna be a quick one, but took me all day to make and shoot. Enjoying getting back into the swing of things.

You should turn your table saw around and put it next to your work bench and use your bench as a out feed table it's more safer than letting the wood fall of the saw
@SteveCarmichael
@SteveCarmichael 5 лет назад
I think I might try that. The only issue might be the width of the fence rails. They can be real hip gougers. Worth a shot though. I do need some outfeed support.

Great video Steve. I like your 90 degree jig you used to make the parts for the triangular box. Really good idea.
@SteveCarmichael
@SteveCarmichael 5 лет назад
Hey Paul, thanks! It's a simple jig but comes in handy a lot for making cuts where your hands would get too close to the blade.

I have 40 ruined cups that I put pencils in. Maybe I could make these to hold the cups. 🤣

A nice enjoyable project Steve. Thanks for stressing the safety aspect of cutting angles on the table saw buddy. Approach it from a different angle (ha ha). All the best from the tiny workshop in deepest Lancashire UK
@SteveCarmichael

Thanks! Yeah, the cuts for the triangle are kind of tricky.

You should adapt your designs for the new Inventables challenge. If you have software such as Vectric V-carve Desktop, you can cut the miters with a V bit.

Steve forgive me for being so dumb but I could not quite get the creasing of the paper. Do you then add the depth of the dados to the crease. Thank you for being patient with me. Dumb Australian

Thanks Robert! The angles are fun with that angle gauge. I used to hate messing up my perfectly set 90 degree blade.
