quick tip on gravy: make the flour into a slurry before adding it! Raw flour in hot liquids (that arent fats) will cause clumps :3 But if it goes in as a slurry (just flour and water) it'll incorporate properly. :D THIS LOOKS SO GOOD UGH

A tip: When doing home made french fries cut the potatoes and put them in water with salt, that way you"ll salt them from within and they release the starch into the water and you dont have to salt them after. It will be the best fries you'll ever eat. You are welcome. Love your videos btw :)

Whenever I make a gravy and am adding flour to thicken the stock, I always mix the flour separately with a little of the stock, then add it to the rest. That helps eliminate lumps anytime you're adding a dry powder to a liquid

I lived in Canada for 11 years (now in Austria) and I loved poutine so much... now that I am Vegan, I struggle at times to find a way to still enjoy some of my comfort foods, or as Rose Gagnon below described, the "food you eat when you're drunk, sitting on the side of the road waiting for a taxi after a wild night out" - bout sums it up, eh Rose? :D Thank you...and please, give Jenna hugs and thanks from me and my wife. We are sad about her decision, but we understand it. I have followed her since 2011 and honestly, her videos are the highlight to my week, and then yours were added to it some years later. It is nice to see two down to earth people, living life, sharing their experiences - but I know in doing so, you are both opened up to a world of horrible people, that have nothing better to do than to bring others down. Yes, we all have a past and we have all made mistakes, but what should matter is how you go forward, how you loved and how you learned. Be well, be safe and above all, take care of yourselves and your family.
