What a great build. You don't see many G60's on the road now days. They don't seem to get the love that the old Toyotas do. I am impressed in how determined you are to pick up all the skills and equipment to do it all on your own.

Top build man, your attention to detail is brilliant, no doubt it’ll be a well built rig by the time it’s finished. I think extending the rear of the cab, even just a little bit will add to the overall aesthetics.

Thanks Chris. Yep I agree, the cab will have a small extension which will hopefully help with seating position and aesthetics.

drill access holes in the sills and cavities so you can spray wax in the afterwards. seal them with grommets. Amazing job. I reckon think ICON FJ for the finished look

It's not a bucket of anything it's a precision rebuild of a great 4X4. My friend had one back in the day and it was a great machine. I am excited to see the finished rig.

Nick your doing a bloody good job mate 👍🍻, just thought I’d mention that different paints and products give off chemical fumes when burnt or heated to high temperatures so maybe consider looking into an air mask while welding to protect your lungs mate . Kim .

Just a quick one, you may already know but make sure you take temperatures and stuff like that before using your epoxy primer. Coming along sick though 👏🏻

@@SIDETRACKED might pay to get a thermometer to measure your ambience and stuff because if you’re using an epoxy, they tend to go off that and if the steel is too cold, it won’t bond well to the steel and then you’ll get solvent entrapment

I had a G60 in the late seventies, it was loud thirsty and didn’t handle all that well. But it got me hooked on 4wding and I wish I still had it. I’m so looking forward to seeing the finished build, it will be awesome 👍👍👍
