I LOVE THIS VIDEO/TUTORIAL... (besides, after redoing 24 houses, I do know about PVC... ;) ... and using MASKING TAPE... What a Smart Idea... I would have never thought one could do that... You have no idea how HAPPPPPY I am right now... You also have NO Idea how many weeks it has been that I have been doing all the research one the painting etc... UNREAL!!! Again, "Thank YOU (both) Camera man too... ;)

Thank you for your video How to secure your work piece to a simple structure. I have just purchased a cheap second hand Camp Stretcher constructed from Aliminum of round and square piping. Your idea of using masking tape and pins to secure to the fabric, quickly eliminated any issues regaiding this process. Thank you very much and I look forward to starting my first Silk Painting project very soon.

I gave up silk painting years ago because I never found a good framing system. WOW!

Your ideas are nice n easy to adopt..nd it can keep the edges safe

Thanks for the video, Sharon. I am using safety pins with elastic cords to stretch silk and it leaves lines. I like this idea, my only concern is if there will be blank spots or discoloration where the tape is attached to the silk. I paint edge to edge without white borders. Would appreciate your reply.
