I am making an Italian cold-cut type of sandwich that is my favorite. I will be cutting up apple and preparing snacks for a picnic lunch. I hope you get filled with the anticipation and nostalgia of days gone by when picnics were the thing to do with family. Jerry & I love to go to Eagle Lake. We will bring some birdseed for the chipmunks and keep them away from the potato chips.

I found this so interesting from the way you mixed your own dressing with mayo to putting an onion and pepper on the sandwich. I usually just put cheese and some lunch meat and call it a day hahaha. I def have to step up my sandwich game now ! 😊

It's about 80°F. We will have an average of 90°F during the summer for a couple of months. Cools down in late August. Always sunny in the summertime. The air is dry and sweet.

Try it like this, a NY italian sub: olive oil and vinegar (with italian spices) dressing on both pieces of the bread, a little lettuce, thinly sliced tomato, thinly sliced onion, sweet or hot pepperoncini, provolone, genoa salami, mortadella ham, capicola ham, pepperoni. It's amazing.

Btw…I live right next door to the town you grew up in! (I’ve been a subscriber for a while and remember the video when you spoke about when you were a kid. I was like…”she could have been my neighbor!” My son goes to college a few hours south of where you are now. It’s so beautiful up there!

Love this video Rebecca - it made me hungry. I had my knee replacement surgery on 6/12. I stayed in hospital overnight then was sent home with a walker and nobody here to help me. I was so worried I was going to fall. I slept the first two nights on my recliner sofa downstairs but I’ve got myself upstairs now. I’m off work until 8/12 and I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself till I go back to work.

wishing for a speedy recovery for you! i had a surgery on 6/12 of last year that left me nearly bedridden for days. i passed my time with crafts, books, podcasts, and talking on the phone with people!! physically restraining recoveries are very difficult but i hope this can encourage you!

@@RebeccasBeautifulASMRAddiction if you leave now you can be here in 9 hours 51 minutes lol. I don’t understand the rushing of patients out. If I were younger it would be less of a deal but I’m 66 and I have a 2-story condo I’m renting. It does have a chair lift on the stairs but it’s the showering/washing of my hair that creeps me out. Plus I can’t drive for 2-3 weeks and my mailbox is a hike across the complex, which I can’t do yet, so I’ll have to get someone to fetch it. I have started PT already. Three times a week. Until released to outside PT then 4-8 more weeks of that.

Hi Becky. I use Good Seasons package mix for my Italian dressing. Follow the directions on the envelope. My husband and I have been together since 2009. We've known each other since 1996.
