HERE ME OUT Moira is actually Creeds grandma, and Creeds mom/dad had a falling out with her due to their different perceptions on magic. So if Creed ever has to interrogate her it’s just Moira screaming “WHY DONT YOU EVER CALL” and Creed just internally dying

I think it would be really cute if even though Eira tried to hide his magical abilities from everybody Arthur already knew about them. And he was like trying to hint that he was completely OK with it but Eira is completely oblivious. Then there would be this one scene where Eira forced to reveal his magic and Arthur just sit there with a completely straight face because he knew the entire time. They’re besties😌
I like to imagine there’s some running gag where every time Heartless brings home a new ally, Moira somehow already knows them from some totally unrelated incident. And each incident in question just becomes increasingly more absurd and unlikely with each new member.
When she tells the story of how her third cousin's sister's aunt in law's friends girlfriend once brought her to meet someone in a random city and she got robbed by doppel lmao

It could be really interesting if later down near the end of the story, Arthyr gets tricked by Lorelei’s voice mimicry because he can’t see her. I can’t help but think about making an animatic for it. I live off of that tension, and the panic from worrying if the good guys can get there to intervene fast enough before the bad guys win.
We could also see him slowly connect dots that the person talking to him isn't, like, Eira or something, and we can see him make Lorelei accidentally out herself or he could trick her by pretending to be oblivious and tricking her into a trap.
Ooo, I love that idea! Now you have me thinking of a scene where Lorelei grabs Arthyr and (in Eira’s voice) is like “Your highness, we need to go now!” Arthyr follows her because- well, it’s hard enough to navigate a castle when you’re blind, much less in a hurry. We could have a fun little visual where Arthyr is completely oblivious to the unconscious guards laying against the wall as he and Lorelei run past. At some point, we have a little reveal where maybe Lorelei will say “I’m not Eira,” and Arthyr would be like “Oh, I know.” “What?? How?“ “Eira calls me by my name, not my title.” And he’d just smile at her and _ugh_ I want to read this story so much!
Update: I’m still in love with the idea, so I went a bit insane and planned out an entire scene for after Arthyr is kidnapped. Apologies in advance for the length. For context, we’ll have a similar start as my previous comment with Lorelei mimicking Eira’s voice to trick Arthyr into following her even though he quickly realizes she isn’t Eira. (I imagine the gang just calls him Arthyr, so Lorelei could refer to him as “your highness”) She’d feign a sense of urgency and danger and say that Arthyr needs to come with her. Maybe she says an assassin broke in or there was a containment breach or something like that. It doesn’t really matter; she just needs him to follow her. He plays along and pretends he’s none the wiser to her (admittedly clever) trick. For this scene idea, Arthyr’s managed to get into a private space out of his captors’ sight. The implied existence of flying broomsticks led me to assume magical objects are possible in this world, so taking inspiration from Glass’s reflection-jumping power, I’m giving him and the prince a twin set of mirrors where A) Arthyr can use it to activate a light or something to show “Hey Glass, I need to talk to you. Please get here” and B) Glass can use it to jump to Arthyr’s location and back. Arthyr activates the “Glass jump into the mirror because we need to talk” button, and Glass has just appeared before him in a suitably magical-looking way. (I imagine something with glowing glass shards forming into Glass’s figure because I think it’d look cool.) Glass, happy: Arthyr! Arthyr, slightly stressed: Glass- lovely to see you again. Tell Eira I said hello. I don’t know how much time I have alone, but I need to inform you that I believe I have been kidnapped. G, now panicked: Wait what?! By who? A: Please keep your voice down. I’m not sure by whom, but they want me to believe that they’re you and your friends. G: What do you mean? A: They made themself sound like Eira to lure me away from the castle. I’ve also heard your friends’ voices at random points. G, realizing: Lorelei! A: The singer? G: She’s a member of the Jury- she can mimic voices. A: Ah, I see. G: How did you figure out it wasn’t us? A: Oh, I saw through them immediately. (Winks) G: (Can either find this funny or not react at all depending on his characterization. I choose to go with “he would laugh at a joke”) A, moving on: I’m not sure what they want or how long they’ll keep up the charade, but I’ll play along for as long as they do. I’ll try to buy your friends time to get here. G: Okay. So- where’s “here?” A: I don’t know for certain, but somewhere near the castle. We didn’t travel for long. Are there any landmarks you see nearby? G: (After looking for a minute, he finds something. Not sure what since we don’t know much about this kingdom, but maybe a specific tower or a noteworthy sign or something of the sort) After that, Lorelei might mimic Alchemy’s voice to knock on the door and ask if Arthyr’s okay since he’s been “alone” in the room for a while. Arthyr urges Glass to leave and tell the others, Glass jumps back through the mirror and worriedly informs the gang that the Jury kidnapped the prince (maybe have Eira panic and Flint try to calm him down and keep him focused on finding a way to rescue his friend), and Arthyr goes back to pretending to be dumber than he actually is to this clearly-not-Alchemy-sounding Lorelei. I also think it’d be funny for Lorelei to carry a notepad of the gang’s vocal traits whenever she talks to Arthyr since A) he couldn’t see the notes, and B) at least 7 different vocal qualities is a lot for anyone to remember. How well she does them could also deteriorate from tiredness or boredom, but Arthyr would pretend that they’re normal even though they’re clearly not how the gang sounds. Wow this got long. It was a joy to write though. If you made it this far, have a cookie! 🍪
I can imagine Murphy being presented as brainless. But then halfway through the show we get an episode where Murphy accidentally finds himself with the jury. And they are all giving him affection. Accept for Alastair creed who (hc) is allergic but watches from the corner affectionately. As he loves seeing his team relax every once in a while (he’d never admit Ito it though). Murphy at the end of the episode is shown to have thoughts and he says (in his head) that he’ll definitely want to see them again before meowing at Moira for attention.
For Arthur, he could have had normal eyesight when he was a child, but his eyes are really sensitive and got damaged because of the area he lives in, because when sunlight hits snow it's *bright af*
I can totally imagine Murphy sleeping on Flints bed during cold nights. Same with Eira on hot nights. Maybe the two can just be cat dads to Murphy and every time they have an infamous hot and cold argument Murphy is just like MOOOOOIRAAAAAA DADS ARE MAD AT EACH OTHER AGAIN!!
Ok but, with flint’s weakness, I think he’d be super fond of Eira. I sort of have a hc that Eira sort of emits this cooling effect. Like a portable ac. Also with both their personalities being sorta aloof, I can imagine him and flint just chillin together a lot. Pun intended.
19:07 I personally love the thought of the king being blind it can lead to a lot of interesting Dynamics and or conflicts between him and other Nobles in the kingdom plus I feel like this just gives him the perfect excuse to have a big fluffy seeing eye dog

I just imagine Murphy to fall off Moira shoulder or anything really and everyone freaking out except for Moria who just starts giggling and picking up Murphy as he just starts rolling around the floor getting away from her
You know how heartless is powered by magic!! What if, every time he basically falls dead after a fight with Creed or during a really tense moment of no magic, Krome could come over, rub his hands together, and suddenly yell “FORE!” before blasting Heartless’s heart with magic to get it working again.

I'd think it interesting if arthyr would be almost hyperaware of his surroundings, as in the type of vibe where you're just: "you're blind, how did you notice???" Answer: he just does. No magic, simply pure skill.
Arthyr absolutely looks like the kind of guy who is regal and refined one moment, but you turn around and he's pulling a funny face to make his guards crack up. I love him and will team up with Ezra to protect him
He looks very noble and I love that! In a very light hearted or non important situation he’d definitely take the time to play around with his friends and soldiers
He definitely makes inside jokes without anybody but those who know the jokes realizing and it just ends up becoming a try not to laugh at the royal meetings challenge and everybody, including Eira, fails. XD (Oh yeah, speaking of, there's a knight in Arthur's myth that always cracks jokes, I just forgot his name)
A thought on Prince Arthyr's eyesight, perhaps his eyesight had been slowly getting worse due to a disease or a familiy curse, and he wanted to escape his fate to never get to see the world, so when he escaped the castle and gets an outsider friend he is very excided. Or maybe its even a royal ritual wherein he loses his sight in exchange for a huge well of ancestral knowledge. Which would then tie to his wisdom, as well as his own personal experiences of course.
I'm glad I'm not the only one! I could start out subtle if its an illness or curse, like him not being able to read small print on a battle map of official letter and having to hand it to someone else to read it aloud, or starting to carry around the cane to make walking easier, stuff like that! Or even that (if it was an extange for wisdom) Kings and queens could choose blindness or deafness, so even if this kingdom is very traditional when it comes to magic, it's very accommodating to people who are deaf or blind? Like having both Brallie and a Sign Language as common knowledge/state required and taught.
Some tips for if you end up making Arthur blind (coming from someone whos close to a blind person): 1. Have when he became blind in mind when thinking of things like how much he relies on others for basic things. If he was born blind, for example, he would have more tricks to do things easier than if he became blind a year ago. He might need help with things like staircase positioning in foreign places regardless of when he became blind, though 2. From what you described, I thought he would be comfortable with blindless jokes when they come from people he knows well. If you end up making a story with these characters, you could interpret some blind jokes coming from his friends or even himself (probably with the confidence Toph from atla has) 3. Make him extremely verbal. He might be used to this because people surrounding him have to be more verbal than usual, in simple things like saying yes/no instead of shaking or nodding your head. You could also have a character forget hes blind, giving some more opportunities when it comes to character interactions. 4. Lastly, have him know things we wouldnt. For example, my mom knew when I would take another cookie because shed hear me chew longer than usual. She relies more on her other senses like hearing and feeling. Not sure if youll see or need this, but i hope this helps anyways (disclaimer: this doesnt need to apply to every blind person, and im sure i missed a lot)
I just imagine the Jury going to fight Krome, and he sends his little artist dolls at them. The baddies are readying up when Lorelei just goes Lorelei: "AHHHHH! What are those things?!?" Alistair: "Lorelei, you've watched us torture people and have been fine." Lorelei: "Yeah but these are creepy!"

For Arthyr- what if you gave him a seeing eye dog or other animal? That way, he can still be fully self sufficient on his own. There are also a lot of causes of blindness, many of which slowly degrade the person's sight until they're blind. These are fully diagnosable at childhood, so these individuals are often well prepared for blind life, while still having concepts of like, colors, for instance. It also allows a more ready explanation for how he could've slipped out of the palace as a kid, as well as adding a really cool extra motivation for getting Ira to join the guard- if he knew he was going blind, he would’ve known there was a chance he'd never meet Ira again once he fully lost his sight.
I just thought of something, Since Arthyr is part of a icy kingdom what if he suffers from snow blindness. It's not permanent from what I read and your eyes will heal within a 2 - 3 days. But rarely there is permanent eye damage from snow blindness. Perhaps he could be one of the few that suffers from it permanently.
Dear God..I want this Krome dude have a close relationship with Bandy like he inspired Bandy his trickster persona. And then Krome left Bandy and Bandy always bring up about it in passive aggresive tone like Krome: Hey Bandy..You..look taller, kid *half of his leg in a window of the Jury's HQ* Bandy: Well, ain't it the backstabbing mentor, Krome.. Lance: who?
Add on to this: Krome whenever he does exposition things will cut to a little puppet show that will recreate the events. Or maybe like relaying info/strategic battle stuff.
I love the idea of Arthur being blind bc of the joke potential. Arthur in an civil argument: “I don’t think we’re seeing eye to eye” Arthur ignoring smth the herons are doing: “I’ll turn an eye” One of the heroes: ???? Arthur: “I would say a blind eye but I already have those” The Villains questioning Arthur: “Have the band of witches been here?” Arthur: “I haven’t seen any witches here” Just a wise cracking dude
Arthur saying he hasn’t seen them cause he’s blind, not meaning to white lie not knowing that the villains are villains. But they don’t know that he’s blind so they leave before he could say where they were. And then Eira & flint fall out the surprisingly small closet while alchemy, heartless & river come out from under the bed. And they all praise him for the amazing lie but he’s just confused.
I'm just looking at Murphy and going "It'd be funny if he was some ancient eldritch deity who acts like a no thoughts head empty cat because he just wants some gosh darn peace in his life and Moira was more than capable of providing that." Which led to the wonderful idea of someone trying to attack MOJO and instead of being met by the heroes They're met with one EXTREMELY angry cat
I'm in love with the thought of every scene in MOJO there's always like 2-3 members of the gang helping fix things or cook or sort letters while other characters are doing story arc related stuff or just everyone always having something to do is just really wholesome and fluffy to think about
Flint helps with moving stuff around but also heats up the oven. Eira makes tiny ice cubes for everyone when they drink some juice and freezes stuff to keep them from melting. Alchemy likes to experiment recipes in their spare time. Heartless does a wide range of everything, but baking is something he’s tryna get a hang of. River helps Flint carry stuff to train her muscles. Doppel and his twin mess around with the customers, decorates stuff and collects things for Moira.
I can imagine Moira having like a bartender/waitress lady who’s small, like 5 ft, that can throw even the biggest people (I’m talking lumber jacks) out the door with ease while saying “No shirt no service” or something like that 😂
Somewhere up in the comments someone suggestet Moira having a "secret" wife. Everyone knows they're married but Moira still thinks their relationship is a secret (it's not). The waitress/bartender could be her wife.
I can totally see a scene where Arthyr is in his easy-going, cool uncle mode when someone comes to tell him something important and he's like trying to introduce them or tell a story and once the person gets the news out he does a really scary 180 and goes into princely mode to deal with things
Moira and chrome know each other. No one knows they know each other. And when chrome first visits the gang at Moira's she immediately starts mothering him like nothings new. And they're all just standing there like wtf is happening.
Now I just imagine, when the team first brings Eira and he's still all grumpy and no-nonsense and wants everyone to believe he's very tough and Moira takes one look at him and is like "Eira sweetheart I haven't seen you in ages, how you've grown! here have a cookie. how's spotty?" (Spotty being Eira's pet that he named when he was very young) And Eira goes very red while the team laughs. Moira is absolutely my favorite character from this video.
I feel like the whole ice kingdom knows that Eira uses ice magic, And are very against Eira, However they know that the prince isn’t gonna let him go because of his magic because of there friendship, so, They’re kind of waiting Eira to mess up once so they have a reason to be against him besides just hating magic, so the prince might be forced to let him go. However, that’s how Eira perfected swordsmanship. Due to all the pressure, knowing if he fails he’ll kind of be forced out by the public if he ever messes up.
Spy x Family manga spoiler: Now I’m thinking Arthyr doing the same thing as Anya in that dog adoption chapter where she hold Bond and be like: “I want this doggy” but with Eira instead (idk if this made sense or not lol)
I think that the Jury’s health aid could also work as exorcists? Like not only do they help aid those in the jury who got hurt but also try to exorcise witches to try and get the magic out of them. Kind of got that idea from the priest style thing
Ooooo experimental procedures to do exorcisms and etc. Like I can see it where if you wanna get a bit more morbid(those that are squeamish look away) could do medical procedures while doing this to see how the magic affects the body while in use. Like, say they can see out of anything made of crystal as a crap shoot idea. How can they find a more scientific way that it works and therefore nullify it so that they cannot use it for potential spy work? Experiment of course. Can it only work if they have working eyes? Can a crystal replace a lost eye and seemingly function the same but obviously be more draining on their abilities? WHO KNOWS! I feel like there could be a small neutral group. They don't wanna extinguish all magic from the world, but they wanna observe and understand it in a way that can more scientifically be understood. Obviously not skeptics. Faaaaar from it. They just wanna find out how magic truly works. Its like trying to use logic in an illogical situation. Finding the calm within the mayhem or the normalcy within the abnormal. There by logic should be no true answer to explain magic in a way that could be understandable yet this neutral party are a conundrum in it of itself trying to use logic to understand EVERYTHING. No matter how seemingly cruel the acts done to reach it may be.
Arthur totally strikes me as the type of character who would meet this kinda edgy character (Eira) and be like “this person was nice to me once and will now be my best friend forever” because he didn’t really get to know many kids his age who were nice to him because they just wanted to be nice because he was the prince and was kinda isolated.
Whenever you say, "This might not be their final form" I keep having the meme: "This isn't even my FINAL FORM!" running through my head and genuinely, I love that.
On the topic of Prince Arthyr's possible blindness, maybe he could become blind. In the first concept corner when talking about Eira, it was posed the the letter that the group delivers to the Prince puts him in danger. Maybe that danger could end up with him becoming blind. That could add some interesting baggage on Eira as he has to come to terms with the face that he is a witch himself when magic blinded his best friend. Also some sweet interaction with Arthyr and Eira with Arthyr consoling him and Eira promising to learn how to control his magic and get stronger so that when he can prevent Arthyr from getting harmed again by magic or otherwise.
I’d like to imagine that Moira uses the catchphrase “Don’t let the black cat fool ya” often, say if she has run-ins with members of The Jury thinking that she’s a witch (by association of her being with the Heartless gang)

I like to imagine Krome being really tired from like doing a magic stake-out And he just throws one of the artist models at a tea pot while saying coffee and hoping it works
What if the reason as to why Arthyr’s Kingdom is so “traditional” is due to a curse put onto his family by a witch/wizard that causes each line of succession to be born without a certain sensation? Like one of Arthyr’s parents was born without hearing or a relative was born mute? But it’s like a Daredevil situation where everything else they have is enhanced and it’s why even though the Prince is blind he’s super in tune with his surroundings, sorta like tremorsense in DND. And for the guard gal’s name maybe it could be Angelica or Vivian? To kinda go along with the pixie/wing theme in her design but also contrast River’s name cuz angels often represent flight with their wings. Somthin cool like that.
omg yes!! The 'royal curse' thing sounds so cool and also really allows the exploration of this royal family who all have a disability of a sort. I love this.
It’s a cool idea, but I have to say that it can be a little disheartening as a disabled person when all the disabled representation has disabilities because they’re cursed. It unfortunately has a habit of flowing backwards from stories and affecting how people see disabled people in general. That not how all or even most disabled people see their disabilities, and even in fantasy where curses are real, if you want to show realistic levels of diversity, being disabled sometimes just happens.
Murphy is just the definition of “no thoughts, head empty” and I’m certain that that cute little blob could stick out his tongue and even Eira (and possibly some of the Jury) would be unable to resist giving him head pats
I would love it if there was an arc where the Jury got wind of where the heroes live and came after them, ransacking the place and hurting our hearts, while in the background one of the Jury members is just crouching down patting Murphy while Moira kicks everybody out with a broom

Letting out another enamored croon, Bandy paid absolutely no attention to how his partner was getting systematically murdered, instead burying his fingers in Murphy's fluffy fur and making the cat purr even louder.
I like to think that the islands that The Magistratum operate from aren’t just regular islands, I think it would be very cool and in-theme with magic if said islands aren’t surrounded by a sea or an ocean but floating high above a sea or ocean, or maybe even like a section of mountain range that gradually disconnects from the ground
OHMYGOD I LOVE MOIRA AND THE VILLAGE PLACE SO MUCH The idea of the crew having somewhere to come home to thats totally accepting of them is a great contrast to the Jury hunting them down. Theres so much potential with at-home scenes in the environment the video describes, and the comfort I felt just hearing about her and the village made me almost cry. After a hectic journey of probably almost dying, coming home to a safe environment would make for such a wholesome close to a story arc. The idea of the house being so ramshackle and busy, along with moira herself, brings a homey quality to it all thats almost addicting. The village seems like the type of place thats a safe haven from the rest of the world, for the crew to get a break from the fact that half the world probably wants them dead. Moira and murphy and the village described all seem like the type of things that the crew, and even any readers of the (comic?) would find therapeutic and calming. They would bring laughs, and smiles, happiness all around. Everyone would be super attached to it. thats why the jury should burn it to the ground (:
The crew get home after a tiring, long day, and MOJO is in ruins, Moira is nowhere to be seen, and it cuts to the credits. But, don't worry, there is a post credits scene. It's just Moira yelling at her grandson because he never visits or answers her calls.
I feel like there's a joke about "Murphy's Law" somewhere in here. Maybe he's a magic cat and slightly unlucky. But he doesn't care. His head is just elevator music and we love him.
Hes one of those creatures that just appears you're looking at something, turn away for two seconds,, then BOOM Mr. Murphy Durfy staring at you with those empty, empty eyes.
Krome staying up too late, being too lazy to get out of bed in the morning. Grabs small mannequin and commands, "Coffee." And just throws it across his room.
The lil manikin struggling to drag over a mug of coffee to where Krome is dead to the world on his bed. Lil manikin dude climbing up the side of the covers to poke Krome into looking over the side of the bed and finding his coffee. Lil manikin dude doing a happy dance when Krome guzzles the coffee and says, "Good job."
He just fuckin' YEETED the poor mannikin out the room XD I just headcanon now that Krome is NOT a morning person, and he abuses his power of animating dolls to just get him coffee and breakfast in bed and he just lays in bed grumbling about mornings XD
Heartless: "What's going on? Are you okay Moira??" Moira: "Course I am but Murphy got stuck on the roof again- Gotta get a latter. I don't know HOW he gets up there!"
_Another time..._ Flint: AH! How did Murphy get in the oven?! Moira: Would you believe me if I said that he’s ended up in stranger places than an oven?
I saw some comments and liked the idea of Moira being Creed’s grandmother but I wanted to add a bit to the angst. Since Moira is really close to Alchemy if she were Creed’s grandmother that would imply Alchemy and Creed probably knew each other when they were younger and may have even been really close friends👀
Guard girl: *politely and playfully murders you* Prince Arthyr: most likely Eira’s gay awaking Krome: “MEET MY LITTLE FRIEND...his name is frank” Moira (& Murphy): the mailwoman from the good place
Just imagen it as a real show. With voice actors and animated. Who wouldnt love this? Who wouldnt love they would say and do and the voices they would have. I would defenelty watch it.

Headcannon: Moira once needed to make some pastries and She requested Flint’s help, everyone was like “what?” But it turned out that Flint is very good cooking, also Moira is the typical badass grandma
And they make a cake, and Alchemy- ever one for their dramatic flair- uses magic to decorate it. From then on, they and Flint work as bakers sometimes when Moira’s doing something else.
A little headcanon that makes me smile is that Flint would be Murphy's favorite human outside of Moira. I was thinking cuz cats love sitting in warm, sunny spots, with Flint's fire magick making him super warm it would make his lap or arms Murphy's favorite place to take a little cat nap
Maybe they're the kind of friends who know *exactly* what inside joke is going through the other's head at a given situation. Like, Arthyr has that particular quirk to his lips that Eira *knows* is because he's thinking about something he finds funny. He grumbles, "Stop it." "Stop what? I haven't done anything." "Yes you have," Eira snarks. "You're standing in my proximity when I *know* you're thinking about that time with the sliding roof. So stop it." Arthyr's lips curve into a smirk. "You can prove nothing of the sort and you know it."
After binging the whole concept corner series for Heartless I gotta say i've fallen in love with all the characters and they all bring me so much joy that I wish this was animated
Why do I imagine Irah eating a bowl of cereal then turning around to find Murphy just looking straight at him then proceeding to have a staring competition with the cat and getting startled by heartless just storming in
I imagine Krome to be one of those characters that just appears, not even using magic they just silently appear in the gang’s line of vision standing silently and freaking them out unintentionally and that headcanon honestly makes me happy xD
Imagine he's one of the characters that just goes Heartless: "Huh... did you guys hear something?" Eira: "I heard it too" River: "uhh... I didn't hear anything though..." Alchemist: "Neither did I-" Krome, right beside them out of nowhere: "yo!" And the entire gang just looks at his direction and has that comical "WOAH!!" Moment XD
i imagine murphy being like. unaware that he has legs that work. he just yells incessantly whenever he wants to move and then whoever picks him up has to wander around until he starts yelling again and they put him down wherever he wanted to go
This is my take on it Remember that most wizards are looked down upon from society so technically it the society’s eyes the jury are the good guys I also think the knight girl should be called something like lily. I feel like some one would bust done the door into mojo and threaten Moira but instead of her being a frightened old lady the their sees a hammer flying towards them and Moira getting mad because now she needs to fix the door Krome will definitely do that thing where he puts his hand on the top of ur head and ruffles ur while doing that “giving u a compliment while it still sound like an insult" Arthur gives u a smirky condescending smile while play chess then proceeds to absolutely destroys u and wins easily Murphy is void He he riverlily
I like to think that our protagonists were talking about Creed and Moira overheard them and was like "I remember meeting him a few years back, oh he was such a sweet boy! So charming!" And then the gang is just like: "ALSASTOR CREED????" and then she's like "Mhm, my, I wonder what he's up to these days" and then it cuts to Creed being a very not nice boi
Creed comes to Mojo for information but also trying not to let Moira know all about what he is doing because yeah it’s totally honorable and righteous and he is completely in the right here but he also just can’t let Miss Moira know what he is up to for.... Reasons. Cut to Moira sighing nearing the end of his visit and resting a hand on shoulder. “Creed, you know I’m not clueless, don’t you. That role goes to Murphy. Now I ain’t gonna lie and say I’m proud of you running around with a bunch of bigots, but I also know you don’t need my mouth if you’re trying this hard to hide it from me. Next time you drop by it better be a friend visit, you hear. I’m not ratting out my employees.”
Color theme wise and the whole hirachy/traditional aspect. I feel like it would make sense for Lorelei to come from the same town as Arthyr that could definitely add some added drama
For the guard girl's magic it could be that she can physically strengthen herself and/or a group of people. And for a draw back she could be physically weaker for an amount of time based on how long she used it and how many people she used it on
...... I want arthyr + murphy reactions.... just Arthyr minding his own business then jumps because he feels Murphy rub up on his leg and pur or maybe Murphy sits on his head and he has no idea so no one says anything

I think Auburn would be a nice name. I get that it's Not usually a name but I think it would for her. It also shows a lil contrast with one name being water-y and the other being fire-y
When you said "Every time Heartless brings home someone new..." I immediately went "AHA! Every time Heartless brings back a new character, she gets ANOTHER job!" I just like the idea of this old lady getting a new hobby every time Heartless acquires a new stray. Like Pokemon, except instead of cute monsters it's jobs.
I am convinced that Murphy would be nothing but a comic relief, constantly getting in trouble for doing stupid cat stuff, and nobody can convince me otherwise. "I got another job for ya here, I think it's a pretty important person. Lemme just get the letter 'e-- MURPHY! STOP EATIN' THAT LETTER! NO!"
What if Arthyr was half blind or had really bad eyesight? Maybe The knight guy (I forgot his name) helped him back to the palace when he got lost and helped him whenever he snuck out. And you got the best of both worlds it could be semi practical and still add all the extra layers.
I love the idea that Moira knows everybody. Like, as in, she knows people who are part of the Jury. Like that old friend she had that needed a job and found one and now she doesn’t hear from them often. I also love the idea that she gives the protagonists tips about the enemy without them even knowing. Like cryptic advice that makes sense later during a fight or problem.
I think it would be so funny if it turned out like halfway through the story, Krome showed up at MOJO and it turns him and Moria are just really good and long time friends. And everyone is confused and they'd just be like "oh we go way back" and then refuse to elaborate
god, just imagine a serious conversation happening in MOJO, and in a moment of tension, there's just, in the background, "/sploosh/! ", and you just see Moira sigh. and then " You think about that. I need to go get Murphy outta the dang toilet again. "
this this this. or like, theres a loud clatter from the next room and she says "murphy what did you do this time?" as she goes to see what the Dumb Cat has gotten himself into XD
Or we hear a lot of smashing, and Moira sighs. “Well, I best leave you alone to mull this over. By the sounds of it, Murphy’s just bought me a ticket for a supply run. AGAIN.”
“The Adventures of Murphy-Sitting” could be the name of the episode. Maybe Moira has to head out of Brighthollow for a supply run, so she trusts the Heartless Gang to keep the shop in one piece while she’s gone. Murphy starts running around and causing mayhem, and the gang tries to stop him from wrecking the place.
Moira comes back to see the place barely held together and is like “Wow! You guys really _are_ magical! Last time I left Murphy alone with someone, the entire town was almost destroyed!” and the gang is like “Excuse me what”
the episode actually has a POV change to the usual one, and is now completely in Murphy’s point of view, reducing everyone else to legs and hands - and occasional faces when they pick him up (sorta like the Baby episode in SPN if anyone is familiar with it)
It's so nice coming back to this now that Guard Girl has a name (first name will probably be Brook according to the man the myth the legend himself) kinda sorta so I can just sit here and actually remember her more easily, names and faces gotta connect when you got ADD, kids!
Dude what if: Moira used to babysit Creed, so if he comes to town looking for the gang, he just immediately gets barraged with questions on how much he's eaten that week or if he's been taking care of himself and how he 'used to be such a happy boy, what happened'. He ends up leaving two hours later with tubs full of leftovers and baked goods to 'share with his friends' and wearing a 5inch thick sweater without having a single question answered about mages in the area.
✨Angst time✨ When Creed REALLY goes off the deep end. Moira stared at Creed, tears brimming in her eyes. He stiffened, an aura of cold power radiating from him. Nothing like the boy she used to know. Tenderly, she held out a hand and cupped his face. “My dear,” She choked. “What happened?” Not “what happened to you?” or “why did you do this?” just “what happened?” As if Creed was not a renowned villain and murderer. “Reality happened.” He said in a voice she didn’t recognize anymore. No easiness in his laugh, no cheeriness in his tone, no recklessness of a boy who baked with her, knitted with her, fulfilled her heart. She sobbed, her tears rolling off her face rapidly. Despite her desire to, she could not bring that boy back. “I’m sorry I let this happen to you.” She whispered, as if everything Creed had done was her fault. “No.” Moira gasped as she felt a hand grip her neck. “Thank you.”
I like to think that Krome and Moira both being really smart, well-informed characters are just really good friends. No one knows how they know each other or how they might have even met, but they're always happy to see each other.
i feel like there would be a point in the story where the jury goes to mojo to find our protagonist who are hiding somewhere within, so the jury start to interrogate moira at the front desk and she just pulls out a rifle. like strong mama bear vibes [EDIT] to everyone writing fanfic prompts under my comment can we make a fan discord or something? i love this energy and think we should work together to fandom for a show that doesnt exist, that would be great
On to the Alastor thing. ABD said that Moira would be the kind of person who has a ton of ties to unexpected people. What if Moira is Alastor’s great aunt, or grandma, or godmother? I can just see it. Moira: *smacking Alastor on the head with a newspaper* You naughty boy! You come here to attack my guests and you don’t even give me a hug! You go right back out that door and try again! Alastor: *whiny voice* But Aunt Mimi it’s business. Bandy and Lance: *snickering behind their hands like children* Aunt Mimi! cackling hysterically Moira: I don’t want to hear it young man! You keep this up and you won’t get any pie! Alastor: No pie?! I mean, yes ma’am. *in a flash is out the door, comes back in* Hullo, Aunt Mimi! How nice to see you. It’s been awhile. How are you? Moira: Oh! My little Ally-kins, all grown up! *B & L collapse into another fit of giggles Ally-kins!* I’m well! Now, give your old aunt a hug! Alastor: Now can I attack the witches you’re harboring? Moira: No. My pie is about to come out of the oven. I won’t have it burnt! *Protagonists and mentioned jury members have pie together with Moira mediating*
