Once upon a time, In a magical land called the earth planet, there were 4 dwarfs riding a train in circles. No one knew where they were heading or where they came from, just that they saved the world from the zombie Apocalypse, global warming, and meteoroids. they were the nicest dwarfs. @@macfain2000 when I was a kid I asked a guy about his painting technique at a warhammer store - turns out he was a troll because his advice amounted to "get paint on the brush and then put it where you want the paint to go". OK thanks I won't ask anyone about art ever again 😢

@@Vikingwerk When I broke mine the hardest part was trying to wipe my butt with the wrong hand . Spent a lot of time in the shower with a plastic bread bag and a rubber band over the cast getting clean.

I broke my hand last year and went to work, but could only manage a half day, sometimes a bit more, before the pain was too much and I went home. I know how difficult it is to try and machine with one hand suddenly out of commission, so I salute you

Very nice work, as usual! Hope you heal up quickly; when the time comes and you get the cast off and start physical therapy to regain strength and movement, be stubborn and do all the exercises! I broke my wrist a couple years back, and sticking with the exercises is super important!

I made little chess bits out of wood. All I did was go to a hobby shop and buy little wooden bits and bobs, and sanded and glued the bits together. I didn't need a lathe or milling machine at all.

i just made a chess rook (to replace a missing one from a travel set) out of a cheap 9mm dowl rod. I used a power drill with the dowl gripped in the the chuck as a mini laith. all looked good until i added the varnish whick soaked in and it became lumpy and uneven. varnish now drying so i can try reshape it a bit and second coat. Mostly just a warning not to get over excited with cheep ingredients (still fun to do though)
