Social media is typically not allowed in the classroom, but there may be a benefit to let today's technological age seep into our classrooms. Find out why Enilda Romero-Hall, a professor at The University of Tampa, thinks it should be. Dr. Enilda Romero-Hall is an Assistant Professor of Instructional Design & Technology in the Department of Education at The University of Tampa. In her research, Dr. Romero-Hall is currently exploring different topics in the instructional design and technology field related to web- and computer-based instruction and learning. Her research interests include: the design of multimedia instruction, human-computer interaction, informal learning in online social communities, and the design and development of online/hybrid education. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
