This happened to me too. I joined mid match in a team that already had a lost round. Ended up with 12 - 3 with around 2k-ish damage by the end of the round and I started getting shit talked about my damage and told I'm a bad sombra by some prick. Mind you we WON the round I joined. Nobody seems to know how this character operates. But I'm living vicariously through fitzy stomping these whiners.

I had a Sojourn say that exact thing to me as Sombra. And this was back during Season 1 when she was still crazy OP. Even though I only had 2 fewer eliminations than her and we still won the match. This video made me feel good.

I love how stat andies only look at damage/healing instead of how the game goes in general. Sombra (especially if Fitzy plays her) is so disruptive that it forces people to pay attention to you which draws them away from whatever they were doing (healing, pushing objectives, shooting people, etc) and can shut down so many ultimates with one hack that it makes people paranoid. You can't just throw your ult/cooldowns willy nilly when there's a Sombra around because you will very likely get punished for it and that's why people hate Sombra so much. She provides utility which isn't about raw numbers and they don't understand the character

The camaraderie here was adorable, everyone from every team sided to punish the Sojourn even when your team did not actually say what was going on to the other team. that shows that even on their side things were being frustrating. The kill Sojourn got on you also is very significant on why the numbers in the scoreboard mean so little, yes, she killed you, her kill number got higher she got her damage stat, but doing so she wasted her ray on a squishy, and oppened the choke point letting Rein to come over, not because of anything about her really, but because your EMP provided such a good distraction. Sojourn got her kill number up, but 2 players died and she lost her push

While I obviously don't play at this level, I've had so many occasions where a teammate shit talked me and then the next game they've been on the other team. It almost seems like the devs coded it to do that intentionally. LOL. Best feeling in the world when you mop them right after being insulted.

There was this one time where multiple people on my and the enemy team were coming at me as Sombra(except one that was nice, cheers to them). I wasn't hurt by anything specific they said, it was just sad by the sheer number of them. I was sleep deprived though so, they didn't see me in my prime 😈.

There are few things more satisfying in this game than rolling someone who was rude or had a bad attitude the last match. Because more often than not, if they said anything last time, they'll keep saying shit and you can watch their mental deteriorate in real time
