In this video, you get to see a small clip of the haybine cutting hay. Some drone footage of my nephew and uncle racking hay and the old New Holland Hayliner 68 with the Wisconsin engine make square bales. Oh man, i had one of those bailers with the Wisconsin engine, they actually ran pretty good and ideal for any tractor big or small

Farmall C might be challenged by big windrows and inclines but just pulling it with wisconsin engine powering the pto. a good mix

You should put those windrows about twice as big and bale in 1st gear. Your running way to fast but taking twice as much time because of the small windrows. But it is your hay and you can do it anyway you want!! Great video, THANKS

Does the baler engine have a compression release to aid in easy starting? I like that Massey combine.👍🏻

Unfortunately it does not. It honestly not to hard to start and that Massey hasn't been used in a few years lol.

Are you using an external engine because the farmall c does not have a live pto or due to horsepower problems?

Neither. This baler has always had the twin cylinder Wisconsin engine on it and has always done well with the set up. It's pretty nice that we can hook to anything and bale. Lol

Not sure exact year but it's a farmall c and they were built from 1948 to 1951.

A "C" Farmall doesn't have a hydrolic lift. Yours does and that makes it a "SUPER C"

Ok makes sense. We have a c and super c. The hoods must have been switched at some point.

Why would you put those bales on the ground??? Put a hay rack behind the baler!!!

I'd leave that engine on there too! That thing scoots!!! If you're doing those 8 acres, how often do you refill its tank? How often do you have to stop to fill it? And, let me know if you need a hand; I'll come out anytime and be the monkey throwing around square bales. Don't hesitate to call!

Never had to refill the baler at all and It does extremely well on fuel. I'd say it still has 2/3 tank. Also thanks and I will definitely keep that in mind.
