The last man out I am the last man out. I will not run from the fight. Not in the morning nor in the dead of night. With knife, gun or my own two hands I will continue to fight. Though I am not the first to come to the fight I will be the last to leave. Alive or dead it matters not to me. Should I die while others get away and stay safe and free is all that matters to me. The line in the sand is before me drawn and behind it is where I stand and I will not leave as I will die and I will lay where I once stood, the sand stained with my life's blood
@@jamesmckay9966 On the Czech border in 1975 we lost 5 men in a border skirmish. In Turkey 1980, we lost 2 to terrorists,The guy beside me took a head shot I had his blood and brains all over me. I DID NOT RUN. I got mad and went full rock and roll with an M-60 MG. Did you see combat?
The difference between how Veterans get treated in the US & UK is like night & day. Once our UK service personnel return home our UK Government just discards them & doesn't give them a second thought. You Americans have so much more for respect for your Veterans & it's how it should be.
Hi Mark. I thought so! About the " snack video." I hoped you fix " the wood gouging dog?" It's leaving a nasty mark. 😳🥺😖😣😑😔 Thanks Mark, Ed, ZZ, & Hank. Thank to ALL veterans who served our country's armed forces. SALUTE! 🇺🇸😍😊😉👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🌲
Thanks fellas for another great video, and YES many of us do love the stop signs and the longer vids. More importantly thank you for remembering the fallen and reminding all of us why this weekend is truly important. Best regards Sid Swift 😊
Nobody should get up at 4:15 unless the cows need milking. I have 2 uncles, both named Paul Simpson, who lost their lives in WW1 and then in WW2. Their bravery has been noted.
Instead of complaining about how Mark operates those folks should show how to do it correctly on THEIR channel. Open themselves up to criticism and see how they handle it. Isaac at IC Weld always says “I may not be doing it the right way but I’m showing you how I do it my way.” Funny about the internet and YT how nameless, faceless, voiceless folks seem to troll the hardest.
Awesome story about the your experience at the airport. You are truly a fine man. Some people, sadly most people, would have just drove by that man. Just think how that moment enriched your life and probably his. You will remember that time the rest of your life.
From an old uk guy , love watching you work , great work ethic, young uns could do with a spell with you , teach em what kind of work built the Western world.your ability to work out how to get the lumber out of some of these weird looking logs is incredible. Luv your vids🇬🇧
"People complaining about waste!" Let's just get something straight here. When I was becoming an engineer my teacher was always telling us "There is no such thing as waste/scrap unless you don't know what you're doing!" Everything is usable. Thanks for the vid's guys! I wish you guys were closer to me because I can use a lot of your product as I am a builder/furniture maker here in Co.
Thanks to those who are and have served our country! Above all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. God bless them all. I have to say that flag is shown the correct way. Thanks Mark.
I really like watching your content from the smallish town of Dannevirke in New Zealand. The varieties of timber you saw are generally not available here or are prohibitively expensive. Keep up the good work. Chris.
Many happy returns for this fine Memorial Day. I have brothers on the wall and I give my regards to all brothers and sisters throughout time that have served. God bless those who have served.
Hi Mark & Eddie & ZZ please take a moment to remember that gave their lives so that we could enjoy the freedom May The Good Lord Bless ur families on this memorial weekend ❤ur subscriber Peter from SC also I am army veteran
I was out of town for a couple days to take Grandpa to see his Family and his oldest son that all served in foreign wars for Memorial Day services. We were all happy to get back to see your video. He said these were like the logs he sawed back in the day.
*- Mark; My lady want me to tell you she liked the edger song you played.* *- Thank you for the powerful song, Angle Flight.* *- It helped my lady weep this special day.*
re: edgeable board. They still have to remember if you didn't "waste" a little, many of these logs would be totally consigned to landfills. Glad you are saving most of it for something productive.
Hey Mark, The Texas Flag, By the Offical Texas website say's the Red Always to the Right. If displayed on a wall or stationar Staff, If on a Pole, The Red to the Top of the Pole. You have it Hung the right way on the wall. Enjoyed the video, Thanks for sharing.
A big shout out from the North Island of Australia. Only found your channel 3 or 4 months ago but certainly enjoying watching, thank you. "Angel Flight" was very emotional, great clip. I know nothing about the Texan flag, but I would like to see the Auistralian flag in a more prominent position. Cheers, Geoff.
A little behind on watching your channel. Your now 84.2K. You just keep growing. I wouldn't be surprised if you were to hit 100K by the end of the year. Just under 16K to go!
As our pastor put in on Sunday, The ultimate blood sacrifice was Jesus when he dies on the cross to save the souls of men. But let us not forget the men and women who died so we can live to the glory of Jesus.
Really nice Mark, I noticed you don't even need the laser , you can kinda get it by youre eye, rarely ppl get that good, that's owesome Mark, thank you for the video man
Conjoined twin turtles from the second log. Quite an interesting video for Memorial Day. Thanks Mark. Wishing you, ZZ and Eddie a blessed week filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather. Peace brother
My ancestor was present at the battle of San Jinsinto 1838 listed in the Texas handbook Cpt. John H. Harry served for the (Republic of Texas) and came from North Carolina.
Ok, The guy in the yellow shirt, stacking the firewood, that you may have or may not have introduced to us is now called "The Sawyer with No-Name" Cause he's been at the sawmill with a job and no-name it's been good that he's out of the rain!
From Wikipedia: State law also requires that the state flag be flown at or near any International Port of Entry. When displayed vertically, the blue stripe should be at top and, from the perspective of an observer, the white stripe should be to the left of the red stripe.
Thanks for all your videos Mark. Really enjoy your channel. I would like to thank you on this memorial weekend . I’m ex Army &Royal Air Force (UK) veteran for remembering everybody who has served their country. Graham
From the TX statutes: Sec. 3100.059. HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL DISPLAY. (a) If the state flag is displayed horizontally, the white stripe should be above the red stripe and, from the perspective of an observer, to the right of the blue stripe. (b) If the state flag is displayed vertically: (1) the blue stripe should be above the white and red stripes; and (2) the white stripe should be, from the perspective of an observer, to the left of the red stripe.
Oh man, THAT is a heart-breaking yet uplifting movie. Read the story first in Readers Digest and I think they did a stellar job of translating it into a movie.
When hanging the flag vertically, the blue stripe should be uppermost, and the white stripe should be to the observer's left. 3. When flying the U.S. flag and the Texas flag from adjacent poles, the U.S. flag should be to the observer's left (though it is recommended that both flags be at the same height).
when i was in high school my part time job was delivering lumber for a lumber company that was located close to my house. i remember the smell of fresh lumber so i am one of those people who would love to have smell a vision. every so often we would get exotic woods, teak, walnut, firs, cedars and many more. i love it when you open up a log and you see the beautiful grains or the clear grained boards. it's been over 50 years but those smells and grains are still fresh in my mind, so i understand when zz, eddie and mark talk about those subjects.
As I remember, Flag Educate (protocol) is; as a flag (all) is flying on a pole, You hold it by the BOTTOM fastener and drop it to a vertical display. Our nations flag as example; On the pole, the star field is on the TOP LEFT, vertical display, the star field is on the TOP RIGHT. So, you have the Texas flag reversed, White should be on the right. ;-)
@@markgalicic7788 MY mistake, for sure. First I forgot about grabbing the bottom attachment point with your RIGHT or LEFT hand. Then I forgot about North/South, East/West orientation, which determines which hand you use. Therefore, if the Texas flag is on the East or South wall the orientation is correct, I do not know which wall it is on. This also effects all other flags in the same way. Ohio is different. Because of its design, it's orientation makes no difference. I usually am better than this, I am quite embarrassed. '-)
When you get the new dogs, make a metal gauge to match the new dogs, so in the future you can sharpen/repair the other dogs to match. Just watch out for the bark, it’s worse than their bite….😂😂
Here in the UK (East Anglia) we honor the many thousands of men of the 8th Army Air Corps who gave their lives helping the UK and Europe to freedom, never forgotten and in our hearts .
