I am a firm believer in “the-planning-stage-means-I’m-in-too-deep-to-back-out-now”. I think you did a fine job. You came out at 10% of the of them price, and you learned stuff so I think it was totally worth it! The chair came out beautiful and the upholstery is great. The way you did it means if you ever want to change it you could do it quite easily. The only suggestion I would make is when you measure the seat is to measure how you would sit when actually reading. For example I sit crossed legged in a chair, or with my feet in the chair so I would measure to make sure the seat is big enough for that.
i'm in love with the fact that you were like I'M WAY OUT OF MY DEPTH SO I WENT AND LEARNED SOMETHING. i feel like too often people just assume they can't do something and that's that. but learning is fun! and so rewarding at the end.
I ABSOLUTELY loveee this series. I don't understand why isn't as popular as it should be! If I lived in USA I'd be a friend of all the girls from Goodful. You're all AMAZING.

@@greenearthblueskies8556 ikr? Did you use the same method with the pool noodles to pad the inside? Or did you just use regular, upholstery foam? And did it take forever? I almost want to take apart my existing book shelves and turn them into this kind of chair. It's a great invention! 😀
