Great video! If you wanted to check something crazy out there in Depot Bay, there is a Kayak fishing tournament called the Oregon Rockfish Classic (ORC) that normally happens every July. It'll be a tupperware flotilla out there. Here's a really popular way latinos fry up fish. We did it all the time when I was growing up in Puerto Rico, then later in Florida: Get unsalted saltine crackers (like the keebler ones that come in the big green can) and blend, or put them in a gallon bag and smash 'em until it's somewhere between cornmeal and panko. Mix in salt, pepper, garlic Do the traditional egg wash and dredge two times fry 'em up! We call it "La Galleta" or simply, "The Cracker" Still my absolute favorite way to fry up fish. Just the right amount of flavor and really highlights the fish flavor. We'd do this with mahi, marlin, wahoo, tuna, snapper, anything. Give it a try! It's absolutely awesome for rockfish, ling, or any white meat fish. It's probably great with salmon if you like it fried (I really don't).

You should go visit Steve from Firebox Stove in Utah. He’s always catching trout in high mountain lakes and cooking in his amazing stove.
