Welcome to episode #11 of Stay Fishy Adventures! Today we're in Washington State chasing after the best eating and most expensive salmon in the entire world! The goals this week are to catch salmon and then cook a 1000+ recipe using salmon and my favorite foraged mushroom, morel mushrooms! Bruce is the quintessential PNW old timer, he never gets too excited if a fish breaks off because he knows more are there, and you can tell he just knows! Fantastic recipes jordan, somebody lower in the comments asked about the cookbook, hopefully that is in works!

You young guys out there,,,,,hey,everything you do,everytime you do it,adds up over the years.We all lose big fish,and such.Remember,when you lose a big fish,that you didn't entice that big fish,by doing something wrong.I have to add finally,that when you lose a big fish,it never goes away. That is what should keep you coming back for more.

I had calf brains for dinner over some round beef steak. Me and my wife eat lots of wild mushrooms. I also got my first springer this year, so im excited to have some springers with morels. Edit: i forgot to say my favorite cheese is WSU cougar gold.

I love stuffed morels. Try fresh crab instead of elk next time. You can seriously hurt yourself with those!

Just this last Saturday I was fishing at 6000 ft. Caught a nice brown and found 25 morels. I continued up in elevation until I was in snow to deep to continue driving. I parked in the middle of the drift, got out lit up a little fire, skewered up the trout and shrooms and smoked them. I just sat back with a nice pour of bourbon enjoying the beauty of nature with a side of the tastiest trout and morels I have ever had! Just living the dream! Keep breathing

I had a good "spring" coho day today. The morels we get here in the U.P. are not as big as the ones you had there. I can see that I'm going have to try that mushroom recipe of yours because it looks fabulous.

Cheese…depends on what I’m adding it to. But Gruyère is one. It’s nutty taste and melts well in sauces. You’re making me drool as I look at that luscious color of salmon! WELL done 👍 instead of ice cream cones you made some beautiful mushroom cones. I’m trying that!

My best dinner, moral mushrooms and walleye. Get both around this time of year in Michigan. Needs to warm up some this year though. Those mushrooms were huge, never found them that big here. Look delish,had me drooling. If you ever lost you job you could work as a chef. Lol. Great vid,thanks for sharing.

So I was born and raised in Tillamook Oregon Tillamook Cheddar 100% most of my family ants uncles and grandmas work or have worked in the town of cheese factory if you watch Jordan's video where he took the Florida couple into the cheese factory you can actually see my grandma working I enjoyed that video

Hard to choose a favorite cheese, but I can say for sure that freshwater drum is a surprisingly good fish to eat. It's at least tied with Crappie, with the crappie taking the slight edge due to being an easier fish to fillet

Juanitas are the best damn store bought tortilla chips, hands down!! Nothin like fresh springer. Just had some last night. Don't forget to cook up that back bone and collars. #nowaste I gotta go pick some shrooms. Nicely done.
