At my college we were generally taught to avoid “muddy” colors, but I like a good desaturated piece when it’s done with intention.

The colors are muted in such a beautiful way! It really adds atmosphere to the piece, along with the ghost character💖 I love how these paints encourage us to use soft washes in layers to bring out the color tones! =^-^=

Now that I think about it, this set would work perfectly for night scenes. Then, if you'd use brighter colors for areas that are lit up, they'd stand out more.

Muy hermoso, la atmósfera lúgubre que da es muy buena, lo bueno de ya tener listos estos tonos en paleta a diferencia si uno quiere hacerlos es que el color se pinta y queda bellamente sin separarse, consideraré comprarlos, buena recomendación.

There’s some semantic thing about the thumbnail text but idk exactly what Edit: figured it out for all the other nerds and pedants! A “shade” is made by adding black to a pure hue, so these wouldn’t be “shades of black,” just “shades”
