Can confirm this works on the next gen version as of 3rd May 2024. Few tips: You dont have to glitch the attatchment if you can make it already. Just make the mirv then re-equip the standard. When you press scrap and modify together, you dont have to hold any buttons, just press them at the exact same time. Took me a few tries before i got the glitched pop up.

You're better off combining a pipe pistol with the missile launcher's auto targeting computer. Missiles are super powerful, much less likely to kill you as well as your enemy (and with a couple of Dense armor mods you can even become immune to the splash damage), and the missiles lock on as an added bonus. The MIRV attachment is fun, but missiles are superior, especially when combined with a pipe pistol or 10mm pistol.

As of August 16th, 2023, I can confirm this still works. I've decided to name mine Todd's Mistake (as a play on words for God's Mistake). Here's some tips for console users: 1) For the part where you are glitching the MIRV attachment into existence at 2:46, try using your thumbstick instead of the d-pad. I found it helped me. 2) For next gen console players, try turning the compatibility option for the game's performance on/off. For Xbox series X users, you press start (or whatever you call the button with 3 lines on it) on Fallout 4 from the dashboard and you'll find a tab for it there. I found turning it off finally gave me the results I needed, then I turned it back on again. Otherwise, be patient. It is harder than this video appears to make it out to be. Took me like 40 minutes to finally get it all right. Edit: This gun will kill you 100% of the time if you don't aim it relatively straight forward. Aiming it too far upwards or downwards is a disaster.

Nah I love the new Chinese grenade launcher they added. It’s thee strongest one. 300+ damage the strongest damage of any weapon I think.

My absolute favourite weapon is double barrel shotgun, that shots lasers instead of bullets, and have unlimited ammo capacity… it was done by random with mods, but feels so good

If you're on pc you can make it even worse. Get a shotgun and glitch the MIRV onto it, then use a similar glitch to attach a beam splitter from both the laser pistol and plasma pistol (they use different mod slots so you can use them all). Congratulations, you can now fire enough nukes in one shot to topple a global superpower.

To do this mod you need to have Reg: Rank 4 Gun Nut / Reg: Rank 4 Science to build this gun!

Even better, now you can just finish “when pig flies” quest to get a free fat man piggy bank launcher, so you don’t need to make a mirv launcher Modif : actually it uses piggy banks instead of .38 so it’s useless but at least it’s like a fast reload light piggy launcher, and piggies bombs are cheap

Put it on a rapid automatic pipe rifle (It still works)

Just do far harbour, side with atom kids, get 100% permanent damage boost, get deacon, hancock, preston, maccready perks and all relevant damage perks in skill tree, do nuka world and side with operators, 1 shot everything with a 10mm pistol and still able to get trophies.

Don't forget to name your fatman with plus name: +++ It does not work with me when i rename my fat man with 0 to make it on the top list After 1000th try i failed Then i tried to rename exactly like yours in the video +++ It worked in the 1st attempt

Sux, I can do everything except get the MIRV launcher mod to go through. Even without it I can push scrap and mod at the same time and it brings up the pipe pistol with MIRV mod available but since I can't get the glitch to go through with the fat man it requires all of the gun nut and science perks 😢

With this u can kill even 50000 megamutants if u make magazine for 500 ammo

I combined it with a minigun and made the grid deleter 10000.

I tried this bug on PC, but the modification simply disappeared after I went to the previous menu.

can't get the last park to work, as soon as i press modify it scraps the launcher for me since modify is E and enter for me

This isnt even relatively the most powerful gun in the game. Try a never ending laser rifle (full auto) with the one dudes treasure modifier or whatever

I was able to get everything but when I turn the monitor on and click the Play button a game called Atomic command starts. I can no Engauge the Bot to activate. Is there way of building thing gun with out the parts from the Bot?

I've got the piggy mod so cant glitch the MIRV onto it. And when i tried to glitch the pig launcher onto it it uses piggies rather than pipe ammo, so im not hopeful for the MIRV mod when i can unlock that. I tried a missile launcher with a quad barrel too but that ends up shooting pipe ammo rather than missiles 😢

let make this crashing game level: automatic pipe pistol. two shot legendary effect. 2 + 2... equals DEATH

Managed to get a mirv on a minigun. Hilariously funny and crashes on anything more than a half second burst. On ps4 with latest update.

You dont need to scrap junk to use it to build with. Just store it in your workshop.
