I just relized the focus "Alliance with Moscow" (or smt like that) changed into "Alliance with Vladiwostok" because capital city of Soviet Union is at the time a city of Vladiwostock.
@@ganzinleonard1640 the fact that this focus changed its name when situation changed ("alliance with Moscow"->"alliance with Vladiwostock") because before capital city of USSR was Moscow and now it changed into Vladiwostock, because ISP puppeted them
Best part is, if the soviet union falls victim to a monarchist/fascist coup, every instance of the word "soviet" gets replaced with "russian" across every focus tree.
Because clearly the united Netherlands are actually supposed to be named after an artificial nation, a literal buffer state divided between an oppressive french population and a Dutch speaking catholic dutch population It's a massive insult
@@commisaryarreck3974 From wiki: "The Leo Belgicus (Latin for Belgic Lion) was used in both heraldry and map design to symbolize the former Low Countries (current day Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium and a small part of northern France) with the shape of a lion." "When not in map form, the Leo Belgicus often accompanies the Dutch Maiden, the national personification of the Dutch Republic. Often both sit in a circular fenced enclosure, the "Garden of Holland"."
I love the historic references and jokes so much. 'Taking back the port from japan' 'new Amsterdam' and not to forget 'taking out 500 year old naval rivals'. I laughed at every single mention. You're not just great at hoi4, but also just, really fucking funny, and a history buff. Love from the Netherlands!
Fun fact: Anton Mussert, the Dutch Nazi, leader of fascist Netherlands in-game, married his aunt IRL. I am not joking one bit. He married his mom's sister. Their marriage ended in 1946 due to his death by execution for treason and had no children. Another fun fact is that after he was sentenced to death, he begged Queen Wilhelmina in a letter to spare him, but she refused.
A quick tip, I have noticed that you deploy your divs that are from your puppets manpower in their nation. You can actually just deploy them in your own nation to save the travel time. When you click the deployment button only the puppets nation is green, but you can actually just click your own nation, and they will deploy there
The focus should create dykes, you can then construct 'land' in the sea, like how you construct factories and railways. Maybe give the land multiple levels; more levels means more building slots. Maybe add multiple stages of the focus, expanding further each time. At some point the front dyke is between Scotland and the North Pole. :-P
Once again my suggestion when you do Norway, please do the authoritarian democracy path, it’s weirdly fun and there isn’t a single good RU-vid video on it
Haida Gwaii is one of those places which geographically is just in the right position that it's almost impossible to notice unless you specifically know it's there. EU4 was where I first learned about it, and I've been interested in geography my entire life. The islands have some breathtaking scenery and are very sparsely populated.
Hey Isorrow, did you know that even though your land might not light up green, you can still deploy the units with your puppet's manpower in your land?
@@domena1007 you just click on a tile in your own nation, as the original comment says, the tile isnt lit up green, but you can still click it and deploy from there
Dutch communist is pretty good if you go the civil war route. You get rid of all but one of your malluses and you can even keep your colonies that way despite the de collonization focus, it just cost a lot of stability.
It's a shame you didn't do communist Netherlands because you've done fascist and monarchist Netherlands on the channel before during A-Z and for achievements and other runs and communist Netherlands is definitely the hardest Netherlands path 😄
One fun Dutch path that no one does is the alt-history democratic path. I think you may have played it once before but just defended but you can also use it to go super aggro and kill the Germans and the UK using your European Union faction of small democratic nations (you do have to deny Sudetenland to keep the Czechs around). If you play your cards right you can also form the EU in 1941. If you guarantee the Philippines the US will also join your faction instead of the Allies even, same for Poland if you guarantee them against the Germans.
for the last yearish? i try come on youtube and look "Isp isp!, awww.. not uploaded" and when there is one "Oh year open a bag of crisp's and get something to drink and lets enjoy xD"
You should play the updated Falangist path for Spain. You can now core all of the hispanic states including parts of the USA. Oh also you can now core Iberia (finally).
Calling the "dutch oven" a secret weapon in the ww2 game, is more messed up than it might seem. Funny joke, but kinda messed up when your ally is the germans.
9:56 isp made a reference to the ‘Spanish Netherlands’ when the Catholic Spanish oppressed the Protestant Dutch circa 1570. ISP did A level history confirmed?
